My little girl is 21/2 and one day last week decided she wants to wear undies during the day. When she wakes l take her night nappy off and if l have a nappy in my hand she says no and goes and gets her undies. Only problem is she has great muscles and is holding on. She is happy to sit on the toilet or potty for up to 15min but she doesnt do anything. Today for example l took her nappy off at 10am and put on undies. We went out to the park and did our usual day things.l took her to the toilet but nothing she ended up weeing in her pants at 6pm. She drinks plenty of fluids during the day so l dont know how she holds on. l know she understands what l am doing on the toilet at she loves to watch. Please any suggestions would be great. Is it normal for a child to be able to hold on or could there be something wrong? l think she is ready so l dont want to put nappies on her.
