I started on the pill (Loette) in June 2001 (previously on Depo Provera for 3.5 years).
I took my last round of Loette in mid-September 2008, and got the usual withdrawal bleed (fake period) a few days later.
My first period then occurred 24 days later in October. My November period was a 29 day cycle. And my December period which started yesterday, made it a 23 day cycle!
How long did it take for your periods to become regular after coming off the pill?
I have heard that Vitex can help to regulate your period - has anyone used this? And how long does it take to regulate?
It makes it hard to know when I'm ovulating.
In October I had a lot of EWMC to at least give me some idea, but last month, didn't notice any mucous at all.
I want to try OPKs, (Maybe Baby did not work for me) but they work best if you have a regular cycle, don't they?
I also possibly have endometriosis, but this hasn't been confirmed (haven't had a laparoscopy). My only endometriosis symptoms are bowel-related. My actual period pain is pretty normal.
I'm very new to all this, and am starting to worry that 6 months will go by without a BFP, and then I'll go to the doctor and find out that something is very wrong.
