Ok well I know drooling is just a part of being a bub but my dd(5mths) drools so much that within 5mins her shirt or bib is soaked. she's been doing this since 8weeks and it's kind of frustrating because the drool actually makes all her shirts smell if i don't change it extremely frequently. some of her shirts have even been discoloured by the constant drooling. nothing i can do makes it any better - i spray all her shirts/bibs with stain remover before washing and can no longer put them in the laundry basket without leaving them out to dry first.
i've seen other bubs that drool heaps - but no where near as much as my dd.
Is this a normal amount of drooling or should I be concerned?

My DS is always drooling too and it seems alot more than other babies, but i just put it down to teething too:confused:

He has also been drooling since about 8-10 weeks old. Someone told me that when babies are about 8 weeks old they dribble because they dont have the reflex to know how to swallow dribble properly.

I think its normal but maybe just check with you CHN.

One of my nephews drooled LITRES (well, seemed like that) each day for months during his first year. my sister just went through loads of bibs every day. now he's just snotty all the time!
