I know this is a heated topic and my son has not been done and will not be done (unless some medical reason may arise in the future) but I just dont get it, why you would do it... Does any parent stop and think maybe just maybe my son might want his penis left as was intended???

I just see it as being my sons penis and not mine and what gives me the right to agree to circumcise him.

I dont think any different off any mother for doing it though... anyways just thought I would share my views. :ecomcity:

because i have done this debate to death, just want to share something i saw on a comedy last night regarding a jewish girl's mothers comments about dating a non circed guy

She said she wouldnt go near one of 'those things' without boiling it 3 times first..

just thought it was funny. :laughing: prolly not but gave me giggle.

That is one of the biggest arguments I have had with people over circumcision. I couldn't ever cut a piece of my childs body off just because "I" think it should be done. Because it is his body we felt we had no right to cut off any part of it, let alone in a location that is VERY personal.

I feel bad for those boys who will never know life with a foreskin.

My DH wishes his parents had NOT had him circumcised. When DS was born the topic wasn't even raised, it was a given that we would not be altering his perfect little body.

I didnt get my son done but his grandma(fathers mum) wanted me to but i told her that i wasnt unless he had to have it done for medical reasons.

This argument has been done to death and while many people will agree with you, many will not.
