Yes... me again!

Ladies, I just thought i would check what twin pram you all use.

I was concerned about available boot space so went looking at prams on the weekend, and found that there weren't many options.

Ideally i want something thats easy to fold up/down and compacts nicely to fit in the back of the car as well as being durable for daily dog walking.

Other than the Mountain Buggy (more than i expected to pay) there werent many options... most others we looked at were either a pain to put up/down or when compact took up way too much space.

What you all have, and your thoughts on them would be handy.

We've got the Childcare Twin Espress lite which folds up really compact (we have a Nissan Pulsar). It's suitable from Newborns up and is easy to handle. I think they retail for around the $300 mark.

I have been looking at a heap ATM, was tossing up between the adventure buggy and the phil & Ted twin (already have the P&T single with toddler seat) But realised that they are just going to be FAR too bulky for the shops and to fit in the car. I am yet to go to a shop and look, but have been checking out a few online....babylove twin odyssey, valco twin sportz, steelcraft duo twin and valco urban for 2 are all ont he short-list to check out at the shops. Now i just need to feel well enough to go shopping!

DD - I had trouble finding info about the childcare twin express - do you know any online shops that I might be able to check it out at?

We have a steelcraft enigma twin pram. It is side-by-side and a jogger style. Really easy to fold down, weighs about 15kgs so not exactly light but I don't find it heavy having said that! Seats recline individually and there is a mesh airhole between the two seats which our girls now use as a window to see each other - very cute!

It was $379 which was a lot cheaper than I expected to be paying. We have an Astra wagon and it fits well in the boot with room for the shopping/ large baby bag around it and we even manage to get 2 bouncers in the boot with it also when needed. Folds much flatter if the seats are completely reclined I have discovered.
