WHen bottlefeeding during the late night feed - is it necessary to burp bub? All I seem to achieve is waking him up and then I'm still not getting a burp! Or do I just feed him and pop him straight back into the cot?? :)

I found that with my daughter if i didn't burp her during the night, she would wake up crying about 1 hour later and need a burp anyway.

It only been the last 2 months (from 10 months old) that she now doesn't need burping anymore.

If you find that you put him down not burped and he sleeps OK, then don't worry about it.

some cultures dont include burping when feeding- they don't believe in it. I wouldn't bother waking bubs, it will come out on its own!

Havent been in the forum for ages so I'm busily posting my *** off, have you noticed??!!!
