Hi Ladies,
I was hoping you could give me a hand!
Whilst I am already pregnant, with twins... :smiliedance:the confusion in my last 2 dating scans is really bothering me with understanding my cycle and when we concieved.
Although i shouldnt worry, because were happily pregnant I cant help but wonder for next time and to just understand my body.
We originally had a 6 week dating scan reading 6-7 weeks... which matched in with my LMP of 03/08.
Last week at my 12 week scan (we thought i was 12 weeks & 5 days) they told me i was actually 13 weeks and 1 day. Not a big difference i know, but if thats correct it means:
a) The start of AF is actually 1 week prior to 03/08, which is when i normally just spot (dark red, almost brown)
b) conception was a week earlier, somewhere 1 to 3 days after AF stopped.
Does it sound normal to you? I mean the fetus measurements are pretty right on i assume, but to think AF starts with my spotting, and i ovulate 1-3 days after AF stops is far different to what i've been lead to believe all along.
