I'm finally sorted!! Thank you everyone...

Hi ladies

I just wanted to say that I am finally sorted on my nappy 'situation' (now we can all get some sleep :D) and I wanted to say a big thank you to you all for helping me out.

I have ended up with :

12 bamboo prefolds (as a starter for newborn until I feel my way into the MCN a bit more).
12 terry flats (until I either decide to order more prefolds or possibly some MCN's)
2 bamboo fitteds (for night and/or trial)
5 covers (2 x newborn, 3 x small - with one more of each size on their way).
microfibre boosters (cloths bought from the Reject Shop)
1m of microfleece on order and on its way for liners.

So having just typed that I'm all sorted, I realised I was going to get a couple of wool covers for night - but I think I'm done for now (this world of nappys was the biggest eye-opener I have had in ages. Until i started researching - 2 weeks ago - I still thought it was square flats or disposables :laughing::no:).

So anyway, thanks again ladies - you have been most helpful.

Two weeks till bub arrives and I can then put them all to the real test :goodvibes:.

I chose the same bamboo prefolds, they arrive tomorrow! :smiliedance: Am looking forward to using them on my newborn!

I haven't yet dared to wander over to wool yet either, so don't feel bad. Wool care seems like a whole other topic for researching.. so I am leaving that for now too.

As for the bamboo pre-folds, they do shrink (as the website said to expect) and they now look sooo tiny - but apparently they will still be big enough - I guess I keep forgetting that newborns are very small :).

Yep, wool, leaving that for another day :yes:.

Bamboo does that, I got 6 pastel green newborn ones and 6 pastel green size 2L (the bigger size) :yes:

Though I have a few newborns and OSFA in other styles of nappy. I expect it should be plenty. :)
