Just wondering if anyone has gone back on the pill to restart/kick start the body to try and get that elusive bfp??

Thanks :)

Well I didnt go back on the pill to restart my body... I had to go back on it cos I needed a rubella booster. I was hoping things would work well straight after coming off the pill (I fell pregnant in May straight off the pill) but unfortunately it went the other way and I had a 71 day cycle:no:

So I'm afraid I cant offer much help!

It worked for a friend of mine. She got pregnant first cycle after coming off the pill with her first. Then never went back on the pill and tried unsuccessfully for a year to make #2. Went back on the pill for 6 weeks (never had the sugar pills, so was AF free), and got preggers straight after.

Also, another close friend is on medication that would be very bad to conceive on. She wanted to go back on the pill, but the doctors suggested against it due to the high chance of falling preggers if she just missed a pill or two (easily done with 2 under 2), so she had to go down the IUD path.

Good luck, I hope you BFP is just around the corner whatever path you choose.

Good luck Crafty!!!:yelclap:
My sister has PCOS and the doctors have put her on the pill a few times to bring on normal AF cycles but she hasn't gotten pregnant yet. :(
As for me, I am one of those people who took ages to get pregnant after coming off the pill so I don't want to go back on it in the future (but probably will). I was always forgetting tablets for days at a time and never had an accident on it..

Crafty,

Be sure to let us know how you go, and when you stop taking it too.... Bit like yourself and want to have a go at it - but dont want to stuff up the long enough cycles as they are!!
