Has anyone got the runs (sorry tmi) when 8 weeks. My morning sickness has been particularly bad for #3 and I've been living on OJ, saladas and mandarins? Any ideas? I have stayed off all citrus things today but I am having trouble trying to find something to drink as I cannot stand anything but OJ. Tried water, milk, ginger beer? Hate anything sweet at present!

I'm hearing you honey! Everyone morning as soon as I sit up, I get a wave of nausea and a wave of "ohmigod i have got to get to the loo asap". But only in the morning! One go and then I'm right for the rest of the days. I'm just really trying to keep up the liquids, disgustingly Coke is the only thing that is working. It think it's because it leaves that bitter aftertaste! I've been sipping it all day! As for the other end - can't help too much. But def need to see doc if it is continual because you'll get too dehydrated!

Yeah I found Green Tea, only Madura brand allows me to drink at the moment but strangel:wave: y I still have citrus cravings including pineapple. I learnt just to go easy and stick to dry stuff.
Blinkstar - I am 12 weeks and still heaving  (anything under 5 times a day is a good day). I can't stand sweet things to drink (or eat) and have found that soda water isn't too bad. Doesn't stop the nausea but at least I am getting some fluids.
Just thought id let you know - on an almost empty stomach, its not good to have citrus as this (esp oj) can actually prolong your 'runs'. Try some watered down staminade/powerade (add mineral/soda water to it, fizz might alleviate ms/s too).
Also - have XXX mints, they are a godsend when feeling ill - i know plenty of people who ate those fizzy lollies (bad day for remembering names of things) - think they are Fruit Tingles?
Fruits and some veg can actually make you worse, try having mash potato, rice - all the yummy (not) stuff the gp usually recommends!!
