Bleeding mid-cycle?

WARNING MAYBE TMI

Currently on on CD20, and dont expect to ovulate until Tuesday. My cycles are normally 35-37 days. I got a very faint line on a OPK yesterday - so obviously not a positive.
However this morning after my first wee when i wiped it was a little bloody so i wiped a few more times and it went away. I have now just gone for my 2nd wee today and theres more blood, not alot, not enough to wear a panty liner.
I just checked my cervix position and its medium to low, where as yesterday it was way high up. I did an OPK 3 days ago and there wasn't a 2nd line at all. So i thought i was all on track for O on Tuesday

What do you think this could be? Would this mean i am having a short cycle this time around? Or better yet would be be implantion bleeding, even though i havent detected an O?? Or could i have O'd early??

I had implantation spotting on CD 18 and 20. :fingerscrossed: that's what it is for you too:smiliedance:

I only had one cycle so I don't quite know how good I am at giving advice.

On day 15 (so normal O day?) I had some very pinky/blood streaked cervical mucus.
Boy boy and I did the :smiliedance:.
a few weeks later I tested positive. :yelclap:
When I googled around, it seems the pinky CM was most probably ovulation bleeding - something that not many women get at all and then it's not something that happens each time with women who have reported. :)

Tara Jane, I agree with Seekrit.

I occasionaly get ovulation bleeding.

Not often and just as teeny tiny bit of blood.

I agree with all the posts here. It sounds a lot like me this month. It was the first time I used an OPK, and I never got the second line to be as dark as the control line, but on its darkest day I had about the same bleeding as what you describe. I'd say it's most likely Ovulation.

Thanks ladies, i've just done another OPK and the line is even fainter than 2 days ago. Not really meant to O until Tuesday tho...? oh well see what happens and if AF shows up. :fingerscrossed: she stay away

I had heard, but anyone with more experience please correct me if I am wrong. A small bleed around ovulation, can actually mean that you were meant to ovulate at this time but didn't. It has something to do with not having enough progesterone (?) to ovulate this cycle.

I had some experience of mid-cycle bleeds like this a few years ago when trying to conceive DS2. This is what my GP told me at the time, from what I can remember. I was also told I had mild PCOS that day so it is all a bit hazy :o I lost a bt of weight and the bleeding mid-cycle stopped but losing weight helps those with PCOS to ovulate, so is probably not relevant to you.
