Non stop coughing - help!

I have a chest cold which has me coughing voilently ALL day and night over the past 3 days - i am very concerned that the constant coughing may harm my baby! I called the hospital and they basically said theres nothing that can be done (im 4 months pregnant). Does anyone know of any natural rememdies, or just any advice at all? :confused:

I had a cold whilst pregnant and had Duro - Tuss. Available from the pharmacy. Speak to your pharmicist and ask for something rated A. Safe for pregnant women.

I had duro tuss too whilst I was pregnant (as I had colds, coughs etc) there are throat losenger ones for "unproductive" coughs - those annoying ones that keep you up all night! :mad:

Thanks Jacob's and Lachlan's mums! I will tell my husband to pick some up after work, as i am in bed today trying to get over this cold! He brought home a steam vaporiser last night which has done wonders, i was able to sleep right through the night....relief! I have it on right now too, its the best thing, wish i knew about it earlier! :p
