Hi Ladies
Im having trouble understanding my chart on Fertility friend (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/238f75)
I have recorded the same low temp of 36 two days in a row now and am confused as to what it could mean...
Did an OPK 3 days in a row, first one i had trouble telling the difference but think it was lighter, second was lighter, third today was darker than yesterday and may be the same colour as the control line but im having trouble because the test line is thinner and its hard to tell :o, im really confused. I tried taking a photo but but crappy camera wont take one clear enough.
Is it normal to record a low temp for a few days in a row? I thought that around the time u ovulate its supposed to go down then back up again.
Also having trouble recording CM, mainly because ive never done it before so my finding on my chart may not be completely accurate.
Any help would be appreciated as this is driving me nuts.
Thanks

Yes, it can be normal to record a low temp for couple of days
Your temp doesn't have to dip and then rise for you to O, some women's temp just starts to rise and they have higher temps for 3 days, after which O is confirmed. For e.g, I conceived this cycle and was temping, I had temps of 36.0 two days in a row, then my temp rose to 36.4 and then to 36.6 and remained elevated, which meant I Od on the second day of the 36.0 temp KWIM?
From looking at your chart, I'd say you havn't Od, but you do have fertile CM, so Id say you're almost there! Keep doing OPKs and if I were you I'd BD tonight anyway, you have nothing to lose after all;):D
Good luck!

cmd's mum is right... there is no prob with having the same temp two days in a row, its doesn't mean anything at all... u look like ur headed towards o day... just keep on BDing and good luck!

LOL Sparkle, you make me smile :)
Had a peek, its quite common to have a couple of low temps in a row right on the cusp of ovulation.... you might get your LH surge which is what your monitoring on your OPK's whilst you have the low temps, but it might take 2 days for your temps to go up. THis is what generally happens with me. Once you have your LH surge your egg can release anywhere from 12-36 hours after that positive OPK, and that is generally when you will see the rise.
So all in all I guess if you get your pos OPK today which it sounds like it, your temp might go up slightly tomorrow and then again the next day. I hope that makes some sense??
ALso with the OPKs its a good idea to test 2-3 times a day right around ovulation time as you might get a negative test am but get a positive test pm... I generally test 11 am/2pm/dinner time and you can really see a difference. THis way you should see when your exact most pos opk is. Keep them all and stick them on a peice of paper one after the other and its much easier to see the shade changes
Feel free to pm me if I can help anymore :)

Thanks ladies for your help. Im new to charting so will admit that im kinda clueless when it comes to this stuff.
Craftymum - i think your right, my temp was up to 36.2 this morning and im pretty certain the OPK is + today, will have to BD tonight and maybe again tommorow:o It will be interesting to see what my temp is tomorrow.
Had to laugh at hubby last night - "he couldnt be bothered because he had a headache"
He usually whinges because he rekons hes deprived and then when hes finally getting lots he complains...
Q- Do they sell OPK's which actually say positive rather than just lines? I know they do HPT's but havnt seen OPK's.

Mel - No worries, I am glad your temp went up
Yes I think Crystal Clear do digital OPKs but they are really expensive like $50 for 5 vs $25 for 50 off ebay!
Goodluck, hope you catch the egg
