I understand the cloth love affair now!

I just wanted to say that I have my Green Kids nappies on Emma today and I finally understand the love affair you guys have with your nappies. They are SO CUTE! And the fit perfectly so I'm really happy. Much better fit than the Pea Pods and I can't see that too much will escape from the legs of these...I think that was what was wrong with the Pea Pods. They are probably good for kids with chubbier thighs than my DD.

I washed them yesterday and hung them out and last night I came on here and had a bit of a read and have since found out that Planet Ark washing powder isn't the best for cloth nappies and I use that so I'm going to have to change. Is Omo Sensitive ok? I'll probably buy that because DD has sensitive skin and tends to get rashes easily.

Also, after having a read last night I decided to rerinse my new nappies/boosters/inserts and I had to do the rinse cycle 4 times to get them non-sudsy!!!!!! Unbelievable!

woohoo :) it IS an addiction...

omo sensitive is what I use on my greens (and from memory it is also what the greenkids SAHMs use too)

- I only use 1/4 of a scoop of powder now... and I have had no dramas .. .no suds.. no smells :)

I got her 2 anytimes (yellow and blue) and 2 funtimes (fishies and the ladybugs one). They are sooo cute. I can't wait to buy more now!

I am awaiting my 2nd Little Lambs nappy. The first one I bought I got so carried away bidding on, I ended up paying about $30 including postage!:eek: . This one I won for $12 and also bought some PUL and FOE from the seller and the postage was only $4.90 all up. Sorry in advance if I outbid any bubhubbians! I love these Little Lambs-so snug and trim. Has anyone else tried them?
I have also ordered a Baby Beehind trial night time pack through a friends 'Nappy Party'-I'm very excited about that one!:D
