We have somewhere to live - Yippee!

Well, the search is finally over. We have found a rental property in Mountain Creek:smiliedance:. We move in Dec 15. Due to the floods in Brissie our furniture doesn't arrive til the 18th though, so we will be less than patiently waiting. We'll get to have a good look around while we are waiting.

Are there any must sees? Our dogs arrive on the 19th, so we want to take the opportunity to do a few things while we are dogless!

I reckon hit the tourist info booth & grab a few brochures for things you like. There's so much to choose from!

If you're into that sort of thing, there is the Go-Karts at the Big Kart track (not too far from you) or you could take a drive into Maleny etc a nice lunch, winery tour etc. Australia Zoo is a great day out (I'd suggest making it a whole day, or at least a god chunk of the day).

Just about any beach here is great for a walk. You can grab some fish & chips, and sit on the beach at sunset. Lovely! There are lots of hire places where you can grab a boat for the afternoon, or even a couple of kayaks and take to the water.

Gosh, there really is so much to do here!!
