We have purchased a Maxi Rider for DS who is 23 months old and when he falls asleep in the car his head seems to fall forwards, and he looks very uncomfortable. It is not very often that he does fall asleep in the car but we are going away on holidays soon and he will probably sleep on the journey, so how do I keep his head from falling forwards, I have the straps tight but it does not seem to help.
Any ideas please
We had the same problem with DD too, especially on long car trips interstate where I couldn't lean back and constantly prop her head back.
I went out and bought one of those little pillow things (sorry for the vaugue name), I have forgotten what they're called? It's a kidney bean shaped pillow that moulds around their head, and you can get it in newborn and toddler sizes.
It worked a treat, and it's padded and lovely and soft.
I think I bought it from Toys R Us?
I actually used to pack towels underneath the carseat itself, just the bit where bubs feet are, to tilt the whole seat back a bit, seemed to work really well, and bub looked 100x more comfortable :)
