just a twist on Jacinta18's thread on the youngest BHer to give birth how about we do one for the oldest.

I was 41 when I had DS - first and only child. Not the way I planned it but sometimes life throws you a few rotten serves.

Having said that I wouldn't change it for anything - love my little man to death :hugs:

My DP's Mum had DP brother at 43/44 she is now 50, her husband is 39!

Just had my first at 29 :D & DP is 40 next month couple of oldies us lolyou are still a pair of spring chickens yet. My DH was 45 so you've still got heaps more years to have a few more little iddy piglets yet :laughing:

yes butterfly we hope to have another piglet next year :D he wants 6 :eek: sooo not happening maybe 4 lol unless I have a litter :laughing:

She's such a little cutie.

I can't believe how quickly the time has gone since Eliza was born!!

I will be 37 years old when my first and only baby comes along, and DP will be 39.

Planned it this way. Always wanted to be an older, fulfilled mum after being brainwashed into it by my very young parents. And I always only wanted one child so I never felt in much of a hurry anyway.

Brainwashing must have worked because my 42 year old brother and his wife have just had their first child in March, and now me in August. My 39 year old sister hasn't started yet.

So my parents had kids young and then had to wait a long long time for grandkids.

37 when the first one arrives. DH will be 48. One is all we are planning on. :)

A friend of mine is 27 with 5 kids, her hubby is 58. They make cute kids too, I keep telling them they should have more. :smiliedance:

Hi I was 42 when my son was born but I'm sure I couldnt' be the oldest. There are women that I know of that are TTC'ing at the age of 50 (assisted of course).

She says she'd love to have 2-3 more, but ATM she has 3 at home and never has any time to herself. Plus they would have to buy a bus to go anywhere as a family.
