ok i need advice and alot of it. i have four children to deal with, well only 1 of them is mine and the others are cousins. my DD is 14 months and her cousins are 20 months, 2 1/2 and 4 1/2.
yes my little one is learning her boundaries and at the moment can be a little bit nasty eg pull hair, which i always tell her off or distract her.
and at the moment her main target is her 20 month old cousin. although she doesn't do it all the time only sometimes. don't get me wrong her cousin pushes her back and stuff too.
her other cousins also play apart in the pushing and hitting and stuff too but i never see what happens exactly and a few white lies get told i think.
my DD done the whole hair pulling about 4 months ago but stopped it and because the kids were sick we didn't see each other for about 2 months much but now they see each other 1-2 a week. and it's all started again. my DD doesn't really do it to other kids only on a rare occasion.
anyway the whole drama is now that her 20 month old cousin is actually scared of her. my DD will just walk towards her and she screams even though nothing has happened. the cousin won't even eat in front of my DD. a few poeple have told its just that they are close and learning there boundaries and yeah will sort it out themselves, but it is just driving me nuts.
we have got them together for hugs and kisses but still the cousin just screams.
we are going away at christmas together for a few days and at the moment an hour or 2 of screaming is bad enough i cant imagine 3 -5 days. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
