Just wondering how often you can give Infants Friend to children? DS is now 6 weeks old and I have just discovered it. It seems to be the only thing that settles him, but I dont want to give him too much. I usually give it to him before a bottle, and sometimes between feeds if he is unsettled. Is this too much?

i used to give infants friend to my boys, it was great. because it's natural, there isn't any danger of giving too much (obviously in reason!). what you're doing is what the bottle says to do anyway from memory.

people will tell you it contains alcohol and yes it does but only very small amount. so small that they are not required by law to put it on the label.

Here is the website where you can read more about it.

good luck!

oh, and another great natural medicine is Hayman's Teething Relief (when you get to that point) - they're little tablets that disolve on babie's tongue.

Thanks for that :) Will have to remember when it comes time to teething!
I thought infants friend was all natural ingredients, so it didnt matter too much how often I gave it to him, but I thought I had better do some research just incase.....

Infants Friend was the only thing that helped DD's colic. I loved the stuff!
