Hi,
DS3 is 6 weeks old and is a great little boy - except a few hours at the end of the day. I know this is normal and will probably resolve itself over time BUT just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
By about 6pm DS3 is usually very tired so we bath him and then I feed him and pop him to bed. Sometimes he falls asleep feeding/sometimes not. If he does fall asleep feeding as soon as I move to put him in his crib he wakes. And then it begins! The last week or so it has taken several hours to finally get him to sleep. We rock his crib and you get to a point where his eyes are closing and he just looks soooooo tired and then BING his eyes are open again. After a while I feed him more etc etc but it just seems to be a matter of getting him to point of exhaustion. We always make sure he has no wind and he isn't crying when he is lying there being rocked - it's as soon as we walk out of the room or shortly after he starts up.
I feel like I haven't talked to my DH is ages as one or other of us seems to be going back in to DS3 every few minutes. We do let him have a whinge for a few minutes to see if he will go off by himself but he doesn't (yet he does in the day sometimes).
Any suggestions????? I need my "sitting in front of the telly watching cr%p" time back!!! :hair:
