3 children under 3

Hello,

Does anyone have any tips for coping with three children under three?

AND how does one fit 3 car seats in the back of a car? Are there certain cars that fit 3 car seats easily in the back? As my husband and I will need to go shopping for a new car.

If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.:)

I have a 2003 Magna stationwagon, we can fit 2 booster seats (the ones without the full back and sides) plus a car seat in it, but it is a tight squeeze.


No idea about the 3 under 3 thing, I do know people who have done it though and coped okay.

I dont have three under three (will have two under two at the end of the year though) Our car does fit three car seats we have Nisasn Pathfinder 4 wheel drive, We had two facing back and one forwards and it all fitted ok.

We have a Ford Falcon and you can fit 3 car seats easily. Plus we can fit the double pram in the boot.
I have 2 girls 12 months apart and cope really easily, if your already coping with 2 i don't think you'll have a prob with 3. You'll learn to adjust and cope.
My friend had 3 with 13 months between each and said by time no 3 came it didn't make much difference because the oldest had already learnt to be fairly independant, plus the 2 older ones entertain eachother alot.
I think i'd cope fine if i had another bub already. That said though, both my girls are very good and slept through straight away. Had i had more difficult babies my view would probably be different. lol

Well, i can't help you too much, yet....i'll let you know in September lol! My first 2 sons were 12 months, 10 days apart....and my oldest will be 2 years, 2 months when the third is born.

We're going to have to invest in a new car before this baby is born, as there is no way 3 car seats will fit in the back of our old magna lol.

My Mum had 5 kids under the age of 6 & she coped well. My parents just brought a van...no two door sports car for them :laughing:

I have 6 kids and 4 of them are 4 1/2 and under. I cope ok with the kids but I have to admit my house is far from perfect. I concentrate on the important things first and then if there is time left i do more. I always spend some of the day just playing with my children as I think they need this more than the ironing needs to be done. I am sure you will cope just fine. Food luck.
