I have been here for 12 months now, and its a bit sad but i havent made any friends yet. We are expecting our first on the 25th of Feb and i have decided its time to get some friends happening beofre i go crazy as i'm a very social person.

Why did you move out here?
My other half has family out here and we wanted to get out of Brisbane. We are both working. I'm in an admin job and Jamie (the other half) works for a company that builds conveyors.

My partner got a transfer for work down here as they closed the mill in rockhampton down. I was working in admin with a government department in rockhampton and wasn't able to get a transfer :( so now i'm looking for another admin job early next year once my maternity leave finishes up.

I don't live in Dalby but love shopping there and wanting to move there later on. Can I still join your group? I would love to meet up one day. I live about 1.5hrs from there in a small country town called Proston, its near Kingaroy

I work monday to friday but i dont do anything at all on the weekends.

I usually go to Dalby on saturdays. I will be going to toowoomba on tuesday but thats us going thee and back, DH just has to see the surgeon.
