i am often caught without a pen and paper when i met other mums and i thought of making fun looking business cards for mums so the mad scramble for pen and paper to get each others details would be gone.

they would say something like (they will be personalised)

anything you want on it would be put on it so does anyone think this is a good idea?

I think the idea is very cute, much easier than mucking around with pen and paper, though I think I would feel a bit pretentious about handing them out.

lol what a weird coincidence! There was a story about this on Today (duh) this morning, with all the yummy mummys having their own business cards to swap around in the playground etc.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this in Australia yet though, so you might be on to something :)

i think i will have a go at making up some see hwo they turn out. i was thinking i could combine my new found love of scrapbooking with them too so they would look different:thumbsup: i often wake up when the informercials are on then go back to sleep within 15mins :laughing:

But couldn't anyone get business cards like that printed up at any existing printer? What is going to set your business apart so that mums order from you instead of the shop in their town? Funky graphics? Cheap price? Being able to order quantities less than 500?
