View Full Version : The Pte Kovco Saga Continues
The poor ADF, they just cant get it right. First the accusations of a cover up regarding how Pte Kovco died, then the wrong body sent home & now the draft report cd left in the airport!
I'm not sure what I find more disturbing, the fact that someone let this information out of their sight or the fact that the media have leaked some information to the public.
I know the media has a job to do, to report to us but where is the common sense? Its just one thing after another for the poor family, how can they move on when there is something on the news all the time?

Left in the Qantas Lounge where any Tom, **** or Harry could pick it up!
Good Grief...
Does anyone know if the Bosnian family has their soldier back yet?
Not that I know of. I heard on the news earlier in the week that they were still waiting and suing the Aust Government - they've kept it all very quiet (usually an admission of guilt!)

I hate the media when they do this sort of thing. I really honestly believe the circumstances surrounding this poor guy's death is no-one else's business except the poor family's (and the military/government of course). I wish the media would just leave it alone - they're just vultures, cashing in on this guy's demise. Its disgusting.
You're right Sharvs - I know the media have a job to do, but where is the compassion. Or common sense, as you said.

I think thats so true. Honestly, i think that some reporters must have no heart at all.

The Bosnian family have not got their poor man back yet. According to the Australian Govt its "not our problem, its in the hands of the Coroner" - funny that, the Kovcos got his body back notwithstanding the suspicions surrounding his death yet this poor family ,whose husbands death has already been ruled not suspicious, remains in Australia with little effort by the Govt to repatriate it at the Govts cost to the family.
Shame on them.:shame:
My thoughts are with the families in this appalling situation.:hugs:
