teeth grinding??

Lochie's top front tooth has just come through and now he has started to grind his teeth his this normal???

i thought that maybe it was him just getting used to having it? will it do any damage to his tooth??

oooooo Georgie does that, Its like nails down a chalk board isnt it! She did it alot at first but not so much now. I think its pretty normal.

Samuel did that with his first top and bottom teeth too but it didnt last long, we just distracted him with things when he was doing it...

Unfortunately he has started doing it again and i think its because his 2yr old molars are coming...

i think they do it because their mouths are bothering them iykwim?

Elise does this too....drives me insane :yes: :banghead: i cant find anything to get her to stop but stick my finger in her mouth, so no long term results from it.

hopefully he wont do it for much longer. He tends to do it when he first wakes up. and then when his angry..... at least i know its normal

Hey,

Yeah its totally normal. I asked the health nurse at the baby club where i get Olivers photos taken each month and she said they test out their boundries of how much they can do it before it hurts or something if that makes sense.

I never knew any bubs who did it before which i why i asked but yeah nothing to be worried about. We just have to put up with it, i sympathise with how annoying it is for us mums lol:laughing:

Just think, it wont last forever!
