Can you give toddlers (15months) vitamins?? DS has a chronic case of the sniffles and am wondering what to do?? All the surrent reserach suggests no medication and to just let it run its course - but very hard to listen to upset crying bub that cant breathe too well all night.......

WHat to do?

I don't think vitamins are going to help with clearing up his current cold, although they may help prevent future colds - I believe the research is a bit iffy on that though.

I give DD, 2.5 years old, Herron Multivitamins for Kids (Raspberry Flavoured Chewables). The first few days she didn't like them but now loves them. The dosage recommendation on the label starts at 2 years (8kg). I only give them because trying to get a balanced diet into DD is impossible some days, so I get a bit of peace of mind that at least she's had her vitamin

hi

sniffles are best taken care of by baby vicks, saline drops, and childrens panadol.
can't honestly recommend vitamins at that age unless they make them specifically for that age group. they tend to be a bit strong for little immune systems.
in saying that, try getting her to drink vitamin c enhanced juice. P&N make a good one, so does BERRI Mutli - V.
that ought to take care of any deficencies.
