Grrr twice now this has happened.
When Ella was 2 weeks old we went to put the toddler seat on & the clips that hold it on... 1 of them snapped off. They replaced it no problems.
The other day the same thing happened again!!! :banghead: How ridiculous!! Now until i get a new clip i can only put the tod seat at the back!
Has anyone else had any dramas?

No I havn't had any problems. Hmm I would be really making a big deal out of it though and then maybe they will give you more than just a replacement clip!

Are you talking about the little silver button things?

yeah.. the bit that you clip; the seat onto....
I have had my back axles replaced when they bent (have no idea how) so the pram wouldn't steer properly, and have had the seat replaced after the frame wore through in the bottom corner. While the set up of the pram is great the quality is not in my experience. If only mountain buggy would make a toddler seat!
when i was looking for a double pram/toddler seat etc when DS#2 was due i was looking into the phil and teds and the shop lady (who i know personally) was telling me that they had recently (year or so) been outsourced to China to be manufactured... so probably earlier models are great but the newer ones not so... shame ...
I hope you get it sorted out Becky

Oh, that's a shame. I was under the impression they were made in NZ. It just seems the most practical pram for 2 kiddies.

Does anyone know where I can find a pic of these prams, I'm curious to see what they look like as I've never heard of them.
Check out their site - the set up is great despite the problems with quality these days.

Wow, they are funky looking things. I'm guessing they don't sell them in K-Mart or Big W which is why I have never seen one.
Hi, I like our P&T pram but it has had a few minor problems, thought I'd add them to the discussion.
First was when we first got it home, the clips were missing on the hood - so had to get a new hood. Second was that the plastic rod in the hood broke and took it back again - they said that they were now using metal rods so got our second hood.
We bought ours around November 2005 from Kiddies Corner (Coorparoo Qld). Both times we took it back and KC replaced the faulty bits then and there. Still like the pram but a bit nervous about what will go next (and whether it will be after the 1 year warranty!).
