Negative test, no AF though?!

Hi all!

Am deep into the 2ww, waited until AF was late (due yesterday) before testing, tested today, came up negative. (still no sign of AF, thought i had some pains like it was coming, but hasn't come yet)

I'm assuming because i have a first response test that would mean no happy result this month? I don't want to go back to heavy gym work if you guys think i should wait and see...? Surely if the test was negative, there's no pregnancy? I gather the first response ones are pretty accurate?! What do you think?

My doctor told me that all of the new pregnancies tests are pretty accurate in giving results but first response is just a brand name. There has to be a certain level of hormones for the strip to detect so I would hold off another week on the workout just to see. You may have ovulated late in your cycle. I hope you get the result you are after though.
