Hi All

Have just about had enough of IVF after a recent miscarriage. Surrogacy seems like such a drama...I especially hate the thought of having to adopt my own genetic child.

Does anyone have success stories? I don't really have any family or friends I would want to do this. Where do you start? Does this happen and can it be a solution to the IVF nightmare?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated...

xx Rosa

Rosa as your in QLD your not able to legally able to do this.

You could access it through NSW however because you have only done 2 IUI and 1 full stim cycle - and 3 FETS (?)

I doubt you would classify under long term repeat failure or risk of maternal health, which is what is normally required just to even sit before the ethics committee.

The only way for you to do it at this time would be if you have a condition that suggests risk to maternal health or if you went to the USA.

Hi Rosa,

I'm with Jackie on this unfortunately, sorry. From what I've read I don't think your case would get approved by an Australian ethics committee. But you could always call up a few clinics in NSW and Canberra and see what they think.
