Nicknames for Massimo

I posted earlier about my cousin havign twin boys and she is namign them Matteo and Massimo...sicne i hate the second name....does anyoen know of any cute nicknames for him? Thanks!

I'm sorry that you hate your cousin's baby's name. I could probably think of a few nickname but instead I'm just going to be a bit snarky about the fact that I've been told by a couple of people now that they hate my baby's name and will just call her a nickname instead.
That really hurts to hear that. I don't know what to say back... My baby will be named for a reason.. not to have her name changed around because someone decides they hate it :(

Sometimes a name can take some getting used to...

My sister named her first baby Stacey, a name that I hated, and a name of a horrible girl my sister went to high school with (couldnt understand how she could still call her child Stacey!). Of course now I love it and only think of her!

Also I have a male cousin called Jedlin, a combination of two names my auntie made up from her friends names (Jed and Lyn), everyone hated it at first but we all love it now.

A friend recently had a baby and called it Isaac, I must admit, I didnt like this name at all but now I associate it with this precious little baby I love it!

Thanks for the great ideas! I am sorry if I offended anyone with my comment about not liking the name, I am not going to let that be known to my cousin and thought that if I could maybe make up a nickname it would be a loving way to refer to my godchild without offending anyone plus i am sure i'll get used to it...just thought nickname might help. They are her children and she has the right to name them whatever she pleases....and there are definately worse names out there. :)

Matt or Matty & Simo or Imo?

I dont really like either of the names, and also they sound a little too similar!

But i think that once they arrive the names will grow on you and you will begin to love them! :D
