Wondering what others think

I am tryng my hardest to decide what to do next year. I did my cert 3 in children's services this year but have recently decided I just couldnt do it full tiem so I want to go onto further study next year. I am not sure what though but since I never finished my HSC I am thinking of just doing that. I know I can go to uni without it once I turn 21 but I want to do something in the mean time and I want to be able to say I did it.
Does this sound stupid?

Could you do the STEPS program that fast tracks you into Uni??? It basic maths/english and it also teaches you how to write uni type essays and stuff. It 6 months FT, or 12 months part time (3 days) or you can do it off campus, at home.

It is a fantastic program and those that have done STEPS have a great chance at finishing degrees.
