Any good cook books around? I'm trying to write the Christmas wish list requested by my DF
I already have the Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food, Donna Hay's "The Instant Cook" and "Simply Bill" from Bill Granger. Plus the 4 ingredients books, and several of the Woman's Weekly books... any recommendations??

If you are really "into" cooking, Christine Manfield has a new book called Fire which is pretty good, but my favourite is her Paramount Desserts book. A lot of them are fiddly to put together but oh how stunning they are when you're done!!
The Gordon Ramsay books are not bad, but pricey.
There is a brand new WW cookbook out that I quickly flicked through in Kmart the other day. I cant remember the name of it but its the recent addition to their collection range - its classic entertaining or something like that... Looks great.

I think that all of Nigella Lawson's books are very good. The most recent I have borrowed being "Nigella Express" - absolutely loads of great recipes to try.
I also have enjoyed Karen Martini's cook books. "Where The Heart Is" particularly.
What about a 12 month subscription to Super Food Ideas?

My Mum's the main person who wants a list  And she has something wrong with a subscription :( Otherwise I'd be happy with a Donna Hay subscription!!
Thanks for the ideas girls!!

I really like the Symply Too Good To Be True cookbooks. There is a set of 5. I think they were around $12-$13 each from the newsagents.
