Hi there,
Just a quick question regarding feeding my little man, he is 22 weeks old and has been formula fed since he was 7 weeks old.
He has been having 5 feeds a day since around 13 weeks, and has been sleeping through the night since then also.
The last 3 days, he has totally cut out one of his feeds. Unfortunately, not the 10:30 at night feed, but the 10:30am feed. He is under his quota of milk for the day without it, but he just squeals and refuses to take it. At his next feed (approx 2-3pm) he is fine and takes 250ml instead of the standard 200ml. He is not having solids, and the doctor checked him and can't see anything wrong and said he is not showing signs of even wanting solids yet. Apart from the squealing and obvious objection to taking the bottle at this time, he is his normal self and laughing and chatting away. I have noticed though, that his morning nap is extending as well.
Should I be worried? Is it normal for them to do this at ths stage of development?
As you can probably tell, this is my first bub and ..... like all new mums ........ I worry when our routine differs from the norm.
If anyone has any advice, I'd surely love to hear it.
Thanks
