Ok i am either really stupid or something is wrong with them
I have tried the pads a few times now & im dumbfounded with whats happening !
I used one & bubs wets through within the hour but the stupid thing is its only the front section where his doodle sits that is saturated the back is dry as a bone so all the urine then soaks throught the front of the Eenee & onto his clothes ( awesome when your out  ).
Ive also tried using two pads again with no luck !
Last nite i even tried bubs with two pads with a small facewasher over the top thinking maybe that will help distribute it all & a liner pffft ! Same thing again !
What am i doing wrong ????????
I have no troubles using then Eenees with an insert this last 3 to 4hrs no dramas but the reason i got them was because it meant i could leave bubs with my mum or sister & they wouldnt have to worry about trying to fiddle with inserts, folding etc just throw a pad in & they are up & running. Luckily i havent left him with them or otherwise they would freak !
Im wondering whether these were a good idea after all.
Any advice ?
ally what the heck were you doing up at 2am!!??
I dont use eenies... you need to talk to oscars mum I think... it might be worth PMing her to make sure she sees this thread...
I dont know if she used eenies overnight?? they might be a better day time nappy option?? you might need to think of something different for overnight... (like a fleece pocket or a honeyboy ?? - honeyboys dont require stuffing or folding... they are an AIO with a booster..)
sorry I cant help ... hope OM can ...

Oh, they are great for overnight! I even used it overnight the other week with just the pads not the nappy in it!

I wouldnt even dare use them for overnite as this is just my day time trouble :banghead:
Ok well have the 0-2 as well as the 2-4 & it happens with both aaarrrgh !!!! Im using the medium size i assume they fit well into the smaller sized nappy & are a tad too small for the bigger one.
Bubs is 13kgs but cause he is tall the smaller size still fits.
How the heck do you get it to work for an entire nite ??????????
Maybe the pads being older arent all that good anymore ?
As i got them when i bought a huge load from ebay.
As i said i normally use a terry insert by itself but sometimes with a small hemp inside it during the day with no hassles yet anytime i try to use the darned pads it doesnt work :banghead:
I must be losing it & doing something wrong !

Can you describe the pads to me? Ie are they really thin etc or are they rather bulky?
The bulky ones are quite old now.;)

Ahhh in that case they would be the old ones and they have a sticky part on the back right?
Hmm yeah I had trouble with those ones too for some reason! The new ones work alot better.;)

:) Hi there (particularly Oscar's mum I hope!)
My precious is 8 weeks at the moment and I have not used my eenee pads that much with her yet - she seems to just give me a "what the hell are you trying to put between my legs" look!! anyway that aside I haven't actually bought the eenee nappies - rather i got the pads to put in assorted cotton, hemp etc other nappies.
I am finding some of the tots bots and ecobaby ones pretty good but they just take forever to dry so I am thinking that getting some eenee nappies as well might be the go
As the resident expert on them :) I am hoping for a bit of a testimonial before I fork out more money on nappies (well better those than disposables i suppose!)
Any other suggestions - am thinking of getting some AIO's so I don't also receive a "surely I don't need that extra cover" look as well when I go to put the PUL cover on.
Alternatively I guess I could buy some terry flats - or whatever they might be made of!!
Thanks

Yep you can buy terry towelling type or Flano!;)

AIO's are good! You won't need a cover with them! But you also do not need a cover as such with the Eenee's. They are pretty much a cover they don't have any absorbancy at all! It is what you put inside that makes them absorbant. Unlike a pocket nappy though their isn't a pouch part to put the 'stuffing' etc in. Instead you get the cover and place either the pads or a flat nappy folded into the 'pad' shape into it. My fav thing about the Eenee's is that if you do happen to run out of nappies and you are using the flat nappies as the absorbant pad you can always just fold up a flat and put that on bub! Another great thing is that they velcro up at the back of bub which does seem to take a little practice to put on but is fantastic for when they are just running around with a nappy on cause little hands don't reach around and undo it!
I much prefer the older Eenee nappies though and you cannot buy them brand new only 2nd hand, but their is quite a few on e-bay and they go rather cheap too!
Any other questions just ask!;)
