I have a brand new cot for sale that was bought in 2003. It was used 4-5 times and my son hated it. I bought a portacot and prefer that over a cot now. so i no longer have use for it. I paid $450 for it brand new from Baby co. Will sell it for $200. If the person that buys it used cloth nappies and wants a whole heap that have never been used, I will throw them in for free too. I live in Caboolture. If you are interested feel free to PM me.

Hi Tara, I'm sooo sorry!! I will put it together and take some photos first thing Friday morning! and e-mail you asap. I got the worst memory lately, I remember but at the wrong times. But I am gonna put a big note on the fridge so that I can't forget

I have no idea. I got the Nappies from K-mart about 3 years ago. I think I remember they had a light blueish greenish packaging!! It was a bulk pack.

Walker
12 white nappies brand new
Couple of baby blankets
All for $200

Also I have a change table, one of those plastic change ones on a stand.
That will go in as well for free....

Hi there,

I did get your photos of the cot and it looks fantastic (for those others who might be interested).

I no longer need a cot as sadly I had a m/c, but I hope you sell it soon, it's good value for money.

hello,

i am very intrigued as to why your little bub didn't like the cot and prefers the portacot.

reason why is because my partner insists on purchasing a portacot instead of a cot because he doesn't like the look of cots (he specifically dislikes the bars). i was a bit taken aback by this, because i don't know whether there is any problem with using a portacot all the time..and have just jumped on to bubhub to see if there is any info. about it.

....so, have you come across any problems in your experience? or has it been totally positive?

thank you heaps for your kind help!!

I dont think i could really pinpoint the issue with the cot, I think it just wasnt cosy like a portacot. He wouldnt sleep throught the night in the cot, No matter what I bought to add to the cot (e.g-bumpers) or did he just wouldnt sleep happily.
So as a last resort we bought a portacot and got a mattress especially made for it, just to make it a little more comfy, and he just slept like a dream. So I am using it for my second bubs and he sleeps perfectly in it, So I just figured the cot was a waste of space sitting there cause I will never use it. Every baby is different though. Mine just sleep so much better in the portacot.
