Ok i'm trying to think of what to get DD for xmas this year, and I havn't come up with much, so thought I would start a thread where we can put our idea's together on what we can get out bubs for xmas

so far for DD all i've gotten her is a wooden puzzle, a outfit, a telephone thingie (will be from DS)

I put a fisherprice ball thingie on layby the other day, its a roll and crawl thing, i'm not sure if its too babyish or if it will be alright for her, bare in mind she's only just started to crawl, so maybe if will be alright, what do you guys think?

This is it (http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2341&e=detail&pcat=gobabygo&pid=45365)

Great idea for a thread Jo and that toy looks like lots of fun!!

For DD2 we have gotten her a wooden puzzle of animals, some shoes (as she grows so quickly!!), a beach towel, some little arm floaties, some little people and other presents for her and DD1 to share including a wooden train set, some creative play food/picnic stuff, an etchasketch, books etc.

We are also considering getting a trampoline too!

you've given me some good idea's there, although I don't need to get shoes, cause Alexis doesn't grow very fast, we've only just gone into a size 3 shoe, the rest of her shoes are size 2's still lol, will be in them for a while yet

Good idea for a thead Jo!

I've got quite a bit on lay-by as I don't have room to store it!

Trike bike thingy (from my parents) - the one you can strap them into until they get big enough to stay on by themselves & has a parent handle so you can push them round. Also has a shade thingy, they were on special in the Target toy sale yonkers ago.

Lounge - one of those kiddie ones
Clam - the good ole shell for sand & water play
Cow mower (from DHs dad)

& little nick nack toys/books for his stocking

Some great ideas Anna!!

My two girls love their 'winnie the pooh' fold out lounge and the clam for sandpit and water play - keeps them entertained outside for hours, and esp good on hot days!!

Thoes bikes are cool arn't they Anna, i've seen people use them at the shops and markets, great idea

Zenifa I was thinking of getting a lounge for the kids, might see if the pil's wanna get one each for the kid, then I can get rid of DS bob the builder chair cause he doesn't use it, he'll morelikely use something he can lye down on

I don't know what to get DD for Christmas or her birthday (30th)! DH made the stupid comment to not get her anything as she can use all DS's toys etc :banghead:. Just because she can play with his toys doesn't mean she should have to miss out on getting her own presents/toys!

I am finding it hard to figure out what to get her. I have some stackable box blocks (the ones with one open side and things printed on them) but thats it. I might get her a ride on car/bike. The rectangle ones with four wheels.

Some of the FP ball toys look good too. Getting her clothes is not much of a gift I think as they are more for my enjoyment! I thought maybe a doll but then thought she is too young for one?

Lots to think about
