Hello, Hope you can help.......Well it's the 1st time for us and on Friday i noticed these creapy crawly's in my kiddies hair ( picked it up from school ) anyway over the weekend we have done treatment twice a day and there are no more nits, but what about the eggs? Friends say the only thing you can do it pick them out with your finger nails that i have been doing but what if i miss some they will hatch and there we go again! :hair: So is there something i can do to stop the eggs from hatching or kill the eggs, i don't want them to hatch!!!!!!!! I feel like we all should be living in a kennel ...........Any help would be great!.........MM xx

The one and only time my ds got nits i used a product called WILD CHILD "quit nits".
It has all natural ingredients,no chemicals whatsoever.
It kills all nits and their eggs.
It doesn't actually remove the eggs but once the eggs are dead they come out anyway.

As PP said. apply the conditioner then comb through with the lice comb. The conditiner helps to loosen the eggs. Also Repeat the nit cream 7 days later to get those one you missed that have hatched.

Im still finding dead eggs in my dd hair and that was back in march, when a egg dies it turns a brown colour and wont rehatch, its only if it was not killed during treatment that it will hatch.
We use moove its a green bottle and recomened by the chemist, as every one has said its pulling them out with your fingers and using the conditioner and a small space nit comb, that seams to be the only way to remove the eggs. Even then it takes a long time 7 months later i notice 1 or 2 dead eggs hidding in my dd hair.
Cheap conditioner and a QUALITY lice comb:yes:.

I comb as many out as possible then redo the treatment about a week later. The hair conditioner thing is quite affective.

You won't get them all out mate! You're going to have to do your best then redo the treatment in a week's time when they hatch. I know you don't want them to hatch...but...yeh it's the only way to get the ones you've missed, if you don't then the cycle can start all over again!

we used moove as well it is brilliant. After using many others that didnt work I was beginning to think that they would never go :hair:. Its just a process of doing it weekly for like a month to get all the ones that hatched from the eggs you didnt get.And to be sure to do the whole family's hair. My dd has very long hair and it was difficult to get rid of em all i really hate the little suckers. I also found that kp24 makes a soloution to wash bedding and clothes ect; in at my chemist. Besure to ask your chemist for a recomendation on what product they think best for your hair because a lot of them out there rarly work.
