lol. my girl in the last few nights rolled over but when she fully rolls on her tummy she will push up and look around and coo to wake me up and put her back to sleep:laughing:

so cute but how do i help her not to roll. thats the only reason she wakes. when she doesnt roll she sleeps very well. its only when she rolls she wakes up. she doesnt take long to get to sleep so am very happy.

any ideas.

or do you think that she would be rolling for a reason ie. empty stomach:detective:

i sort of know what you mean. ihaven't beene through it but i thought i wouldn't do it because i was worried about the futur and getting her out of it, but iti just sort of happened! and it works. but i don't look forward to getting her out of it. i'm hopinh she'll grow out of it, i mean how many 5 year olds do you know still get wrapper IYKWIM? ;)

but i understand, hmmmm what else could you do....? i guess she's just got to learn that night time is for s leeping? somehow? :p sorry i don't think i have anymore suggestions :(

Its just a matter of her getting used to the rolling. Once she gets used to it she will roll all over the place and stay asleep.

Have you tried waiting a little bit to see if she will resettle herself. Obviously not if she is upset, but if she is only cooing.

we have our cot right against our bed but even so she somehow ends up against me pushing me so she ends up with half the bed.

she does sleep with a blanket but no specific colour as i didnt want her to get attached to one lol.

its usually only once a night. but always around the same time

other time she wakes up is just a little whimper from her back.

could it be a bad dream at 7months old?

i could try that. mabye just pop my hand on her chest.

she looks like shes cooing half asleep. but then if i wait i dont want to chance waking her fully,.

hmmm decisions:dizzy:

Yep definately give the hand on her chest a go. I do it with DS if he is stirring, half asleep. He usually falls back asleep as soon as I do it. If he doesn't then I know he is hungry.

I snuggle into him (we have our cot in a sidecar position too) and he usually stops. Or I hold his arm down gently. He's still getting used to not being wrapped since we stopped a few weeks ago now, but he's getting much better. You might find that she ends up being a tummy sleeper Rosie  Phoenix sometimes sleeps better on his tummy, especially if he's had a bad night getting to sleep.
I figure, he has the head and neck control to sit unassissted, has been rolling over for a few months now... he can manage to breathe perfectly fine :D Plus I get extra paranoid, so check on him quite a bit lol
