Hi Ladies
I have a close friend who is in hospital after a SROM at 31w6d. She and bubs are doing well and the game plan is to coax the pregnancy along as far as they can which means she could be in hospital for a number of weeks.
I have no experience of a prem bub and am wondering if there are specific products I can buy/things I could do for her which would be useful and specific for a prem.
Any help is appreciated, Cheers

The best thing a friend bought me when I was in hospital for two weeks before a prem delivery (34weeks) were some Pam Ayers poem books. They were short and easy to read and funny and distracted me.
To be honest, I wouldn't be buying anything yet for the baby.
Maybe cook up some meals for her man or for the freezer for when she does eventually get home. Hope all goes well for them:)

No probs
My bub was in ICU for two weeks at another hospital :( then was in MRSA ward for another week, then isolation back at the hospital she was born at then we were in a 'after care facility' for another week till I had enough and went home! So somtimes it could be while before bubs is home.

:(:hugs: to you, I really hope all is well now, what a stressful time for your whole family.
It's a whole different ballgame with premmie bub isn't it? Like a lot of mum's with full-term healthy bubs I took it for granted that I left hospital with my DS.
