Well Linda yes I am feeling lot's of kicks this week. Not sure if it is due to being a bit sick:confused: So nice though...I hope you have a great night tonight, yum yum chinese.

Toni I would still have your candle party or just change the date. How funny is Bailey:D I bet he learns real quick...

Jules Any news???

Well Shakyla actually has Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease:eek: I took her to the dr's they said viral rash, I thought it was a bit different as it had blisters.. Anyway I was helping with a kinder excursion today and there was a notice about scarlet fever.. I then asked a few mums to have a look while I was at the excursion and 1 mentioned that it looked like hand foot and mouth. I took her in at 4 this arvo and yep it is!!! So they tell me to keep her away from children and pregnant women.... HELLO Who the heck has been looking after her all week... So she is no longer on antibiotics but now we are house bound until the blisters dry up!! I also feel bad that I could have passed it on to the kinder guys but apparently she would have been most contagious 3-6 days prior to the rash showing. Oh and Daylan is showing symptoms!

So we have a few things on, dinner friday night a friends going away and Saturday My brothers 21st. I don't like our chances:no:

Anyway I found my camera:smiliedance: so will take a few pics tomorrow and post them..

On a good note my gorgeous loving husband has just left to buy me some KFC!! I don't know why but I am really craving it.. he said no coz sir alan is coming on but I told him the baby really needs it, lmao!!

Shilo - Lol about the KFC. Hope it was good. What a bummer about Shakyla gettin HF&M right when things are coming up. My boys had it a little while ago if you remember. I hope it does not get to bad for her. I got told that it is kind of like the chicken pox so they should only get it once. Hope that's true because I don't want to see them go through that again. I will be having my party just at a later date. Kind of disappointed but can't be helped.

Yes toni I did do some searching on the government health sites and it appears once they have it they don't get it again. I do remember the boys had it. All fun and games, hey. I checked her out earlier this morning and it appears to be going away:confused: She didn't have it too bad only a few around the areas. I searched images and it could get a lot worse:eek:

It's good you changed your party. I am having a tupperware one soon and it looks as if I might have to change the date as it falls on the transition day at DD1 school. I am doing a childrens cooking party and I think the kids will be a bit exhausted and emotional after the transition!! Not to mention how I will be feeling getting all of us up and ready so early:p

Guys it's not too long until my scan and I am not sure if I will find the sex out or not:( Part of me wants to coz well I liked knowing with shakyla. The other part is saying hmmm maybe not because this could be our last (I did say could;) ) My dh will find out and dd1 is already telling me we are going to find out... Ahhh such a dilemma.

Anyway I have to go and bank a cheque. Hope you all have a great day:flowerz:

DQ
30-10-2008, 09:10
What day is your actual scan Shilo??

Oh you will be brave if you don't ask to find out what bubs is. I could never do it, even this time knowing it is my last, I still couldn't NOT ask that question "Can you see what it is?" :o

How are you feeling now?? How many weeks now?? Sorry to hear about S, hope she is on the mend again now :hugs:

Toni - Sorry to hear you had to cancel your candle party, it sounded great!! Oh well, maybe next time it will come off

Shilo - AF arrived instantaneously today as I stepped out of bed Very heavy and painful unlike usual. Pretty certain this was a chemical pregnancy, hence the +HPT the other day. Nevermind hopefully this will mean I am super fertile for this new cycle:fingerscrossed:
Speaking of KFC we had it for tea tonight, haven't had it in a long time. So greasy yummmm

Hope the HFM disease clears up soon, has been going around a bit hasnt it. As for Scarlett fever Xav had that a couple of months back. I was so close to taking him to emergency when he had 40 degree fever for two days straight. His whole body was bright red, he was on fire the poor kid. He lost 2kgs from it too, as he vommitted a few times and didn't eat solids for over a week. It was really scary as I have never seen him so sick before.

Toni bummer about the candle party, what a let down. I hope your next one works out better:flowerz:

Hello Ladies!

Shilo - Glad to hear that Shakyla didn't get it to bad. Bryce had them really bad in his mouth and could not each much for a few days. I couldn't help myself with finding out what I was having every time. Oh well at least we were fully prepared when the time came lol.

Kell - How are you feeling now? Is that hernia getting any better? I hope so.

Julz - Sorry to hear about AF. Sending lots of good vibes to you for this cycle. This is the one! That would have been scary Xav with the scarlet fever. I get what you mean about loosing the weight as well. Bryce has been 15kg for over a year now and just before he got the gastro bug a couple of weeks ago he was up over the 16kg mark. Now he is under that again lol.

Not much happening here. Was so bored today and didn't feel like doing house work. I actually sat down in front of the TV and watched discovery health after reordering the channel today. There is so much baby related shows on there and I love watching them.

Oh a question I have been meaning to ask also. What is everyones little ones heights at the moment. I measured Bailey the other day and he is 82.5 cm and in the middle of the 75th percentile area. Everyone (especially my sister) keeps telling me he is so short. I had a feeling that he is taller than Bryce at this age and DH agrees. I am only 163 cm's short and DD1 (12 y/o) is taller than me already and has a womens size 9 foot lol. My mums side of the family is quite tall and both her brothers are in the high 6 foot range as are a few of my cousins. It seems like DD2 has not grown in a couple of years lol. I think it is more that DD1 is growing so fast we don't notice it.

Anyhow no other news. Hope everyone is doing well.

Love to all.

DQ
30-10-2008, 22:14
Oh bugger Julz :hugs: Bl00dy AF  Heres to the next cycle for you.

Toni - No, the hernia is still here. It is actually so bad tonight. I think bub must have turned or moved or something because my belly is a really odd shape and is so tight and painful. I can't even touch my belly button without being in tears. :hissy:I see my OB on Wednesday so will get it checked again then.

Well we are planning on going camping this weekend, but of course the weather forecast for the weekend here is rain and thunderstorms :( Always the way

Hi to everyone else. I hope you are all well and happy.

Linda I hope your girls are feeling much better.

Night everyone

Hope it's feeling better soon.

Nope, apparently nothing can be done :( May also have a c/sec cause they say it might burst when in labour

Will see though, plenty of time to correct itself

TMI ALERT IN FOLLOWING POST:

OMG that scared the bejesus outta me, I hope it goes away, if not youI hope you have a c sec, I dont want you to have no hernia bursting on you in the middle of labour how awful:eek::eek:

THis AF is awful!!:crying: I feel for people who have heavy AF every month. I normally have such a piddly Af that it's barely noticable but this time I am so sore and bleeding like a trooper it's awful. Last night my whole downstairs felt like I had just given birth ya know the achey feeling, then I passed a lovely big clot:barf: I hate being female sometimes:laughing:

toni796
31-10-2008, 13:26
OMG Julz! How horrible. I know how that feels. I had a really heavey period a month or so ago. IT was so painfull and heavy as well. I have only gotten it 2 times since I got the implanon put in last September so it has hit me like a truck. Hope you feel better soon and that this next cycle is the one for you.

Shilo, for C we didn't find out what we were having, for A i did and DH didn't, don't think I could NOT find out if we have a 3rd, am waaay too impatient!!!! :o Hope S is recovering well, poor bub!

Kell, how horrible, da** hernia!!! Hopefully it will heal itself and you can have a VB. Have you looked into natural methods to help it heal? Maybe herbs, certain diets or foods?:detective: You still camping on the weekend or is it def going to rain?

Toni, I havn't measured my girls' heights in ages, so can't help you with that one sorry! Don't listen to everyone telling you B is short! As long as he is healthy and happy, thats all that matters. C still only weighs 14kg, but she eats like theres no tommorrow and is very active so i'm not worried. My DH and I arn't exactly huge builds so I'm not surprised.

Jules, :hugs: I hear you hun, my AF is always very heavy for a couple of days, it's horrible, and I passed quite a big clot last cycle, :barf: apparently it's normal, it's just endometiral tissue, but I still think you had a chem preg last cycle. Hopefully AF slows right down and buggers off for 9 months..............:D

Well, i better get the vacuming done..............booooo, not in the mood! But my sis and BIL are arriving tomorrow morning so want to go out and have fun with them instead of worrying about housework!

xo.

DQ - sorry to hear about the hernia, hope it doesnt give ya too much grief. Are you still going camping??

Shilo - good luck at your scan, have you got your car back yet?

Toni - I'll have to have a check in Ava's book, i have a feeling she is in the high percentile, they always say she is tall. Hows things going?
Have you decided what you are doing for xmas? We are going to my aunties this yr in Gordonvale for a change.

Juls - Hope you lighten up a bit (your AF that is!!) Heavy ones are so not fun!! Hows the house going?

cmd- Hope you have a fun weekend with your visitors!!!

Not much happening here, boring night, nothing on tv!! Had DS school orientation this morning - went really well, luckily he knows quite a few of the other children who will be starting also - and atleast i know a few of the mums:ecomcity: - i remember when DD1 first started and we were new to town, i didnt know anyone and people hardly even talked to me - so much better now!!!

31-10-2008, 22:19
Jules - sorry to hear u are so uncomfortable atm. Since ive had my AF back they have been really heavy too - not nice

Toni - i will measure Bella tomorrow if i can. I think she will be considered "short" though! She still hasnt reached the 10kg mark yet.

Shellsbubs - is your DS starting prep? My DS is in prep this year and has changed so much since he started.

DQ - hope the hernia fixes itself :fingerscrossed:. Have you had any previous c/s?

Everyone has been asleep for ages around here. DH works all day tomorrow and im having a garage sale of all our baby stuff. I hope people dont arrive too early...
Bella has been eating constantly since she recovered from the gastro. She is always getting the boxes of cereal out of the pantry and eating it - she grazes all day (im not complaining as she is usually a fussy one!). We just bought her a little tikes car and she loves it sooo much! she hardly gets out of the thing. It was meant to be for christmas but she loves it so much i let her keep it.:D

DS has been a bit naughty at school so lost any treats tonight and isnt allowed any dvd's till tomorrow. He has been really silly and not listening to instruction. I think he is behaving badly cause he is unsettled about changing schools, moving etc? Im not sure entirely but it could be a factor.

DH and I are going out for dinner BY OURSELVES tomorrow night!!! first time since before Bella was born, we will be able to eat all our dinner without interruption
My mum is coming over to look after the kids. Im hoping bella will go to sleep without a breastfeed for Mum. I think she will be fine!

well i had better go - im meant to be getting an early night

take care everyone

Hello Ladies!

I just almost finished my post and the window froze on me. So annoyed. Anyhow here goes again.

Linda - I am not really worried about what people say it is just getting really annoying with my sis always saying the boys are short. I don't expect them to be tall with my height but they can still outgrow me like DD1 has. She just shot up over the past couple of years and at 12 y/o is taller than me already. Don't want to know how much taller she is going to get lol.

Shell - We are going to Tinaroo camping for xmas. Decided we are going to do something that we want to do this year instead of doing the usual and going to my Aunts with the rest of the family. We tried last year to have xmas at our house so the kids could all play freely but she was adamant to have it at her house still. Wow! DS starting school. How is that going to feel only having Ava home most of the time? I think it will be a bit strange at first seen as though you are probably used to having him at home.

Kerianne - Hope the garage sale goes well today. Glad to hear that Bella is over the gastro now and back to eating. You got a pick of her in her new car? That is so cute. Have a great night out to dinner with DH tonight.

Well DH is away for firefighter training again all weekend and we are at home alone again. He goes again next weekend as well and that is his last one till Feb next year. The one in Feb is defensive driving. Can you imagine doing defensive driving in a fire truck? lol I think it would be pretty freaky.

Bailey is still teething. He has 3 that are partly through and 1 is still bulging. The bruise where Bryce banged his head on the table is almost gone now. Having a bit of trouble with DD1 lying to us at the moment and nothing we say and do will change it. DH told her she is not going back to school on Monday and will begin home schooling. He is really going to be serious about that soon if she does not pull her weight and stop the lying. She loves going to school so when she is told she will be home schooled it really bulls her strings.

Anyhow not much else going on so I will leave it at that.

Hope everyone is doign well.

Love to all.

Wow. everyone must have had a busy weekend. Hope all is well with everyone.

We had a pretty quiet weekend. Pretty much sat around all day Sat and Sun and did nothing. Last night I pulled all the christmas stuff out and we went through some of the lights and changed over bulbs that were dead. Did 5 sets and have about 5 more sets to go lol. We have alot of lights and stuff this year to do our yard up. I am so anxious to do it but DH is not free till the weekend of the 15 and 16 for us to do it.

hi everyone - its very quite in here:detective: we all must be very busy at the moment. Since i have gone back 2 work just for 2 nights i seem to have hardly any time 4 bub hub.

Isabella is developing her own personality and chucks a few tantrums every now and then at the moment. She is continually learning new things - i have taught her some sign language, some nursery rhymes with actions etc and she also tries to jump (without actually getting off the floor) which is soooo cute. She loves being outside or going to the park. She is alot of fun and i am enjoying this age very much.

Not much happening here at the moment. Jay is asleep on the couch near me and im about to carry him to his bed! What is everyone doing for the weekend? Im thinking of taking the kids to the pool. It was sooo hot here today so if its like that tomorrow we will be needing a swim. I have just done the housework tonight so i can concentrate on the kids tomorrow (DH is working).

Night all

Oh by the way - do any of you live on the northside of brisbane???? we will be moving over there soon so thought i could meet anyone who lives there :D

Kelly Kell Kell, naughty naughty computer!!!! It's been ehaving quite badly hasn't it? How is your hernia?Hope it is healing! OMG you've only got like 3 months to go till baby girl arives!:D

jay, Bella sounds so cute!!! It's so amazing when they develop their own little personailty! A is starting to say more and more words, her fave ATM is "Sit" Her hair is growing quickly too!

Well, I'm buggered! My sis and BIL went back home to Sydney today. We have been soooo busy with them, been out heaps and as I'm not used to it I'm sooooo tired! I feel so old WWAAAHHHHH!!!!
Oh GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?! I had a job interview yesterday! It was with an agency and she was very pleased with me. She is going to arrange an interview with the Law Firm sometime next week! Keep your fingers crossed for me girls..............

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

My puter keeps sh!tting itself too arggh damn things:hair:
Anyways we have all been sick this week so have been laying low.

Bit down too as we found out we are no longer moving up North at this stage now. DH was offered a postion up there but when the salary package came back we were going to be taking a huge pay cut!! So we decided it wasnt worth moving if we are going to be worse off financially.
It's our dream to move up there so we fully intend on finding a way, but it wont be happening for awhile now:crying:
So atm we dont know what we are going to do, sell or stay who knows I'll let you know when we figure it all out.

Kerriane - It is amazing the rate at which they are learning now isn't it? New words come out everyday they are such clever little things aren't they. Hows work are you enjoying it?

Linda - I have everything crossed for you hun for the job:fingerscrossed:. Also for that :bfp::raspberry:

Shells yep I have been there too, holding gyprock up that is lol, talk about sore arms
We are getting there on this place, trying to decide now whether to finish this place of completely since the Cairns move is a no go for now ( build a garage on, restore the roof, restore the pool area etc) or just sell and move on, its so hard to decide what to do!?!?

Hows everyone else doing, computer going again DQ?
Toni what you up to hun?

Hi Girls,

It's been a while, have been dealing with a lot lately and haven't felt much like writing in too much. Finally starting to feel human again and back to myself, I think LOL.

Hope you had a good Garage Sale and night out K? Haven't spoken to you in a while, sorry I couldn't catch up with you last week, I have not been feeling well and had to get out that day leaving my phone in the car (woops, always do that). When do you move North? How exciting for you guys.

Julz, you o'kay? Haven't heard from you for a while.

Brianna is good, throwing her little tantrums a lot though he,he. How many teeth does everyone's bubbies have? B still only has 6. Makes it hard for her to eat a lot (especially with so many allergies).

OOps have to go, bbl if I can,

Love to all.

Like Holly, thought I would stop in and say hi!! Haven't kept up with the thread but would like to keep popping in from now on. I see that some of you are ttc or having a baby - congratulations!

Not many posting anymore but I suppose that is what happens - many have returned to work etc.

Look forward to catching up with all. Think I need to do some reading....especially since reading Julz was heading up north (and ttc)!!!?? So sorry the move didn't work out for you...would have been a big change but exciting at the same time.

Hi everyone, very quiet in here lately.

Julz, I'm so sorry the move hasn't worked out. I'm not sure if you remember but we did the same thing earlier this year. We put the house on the market and found another place to buy, then it all sort of just fizzled out.

We are real lucky we didn't go now too cause we would have locked in our mortgage, and with the recent rate cuts, wouldn't have benefited from them. Plus, DH wouldn't have had any work out there so would have put more financial pressure on us. Things happen for a reason, so once everything is in place for you guys, it will all work out. :hugs:

Linda, good luck for the job hun, hope you get it, although you know how I feel about you going back to work :raspberry:

Toni - How you going? I bought Bailey's Christmas pressie the other day so I am all ready to post it up to you. Hope he likes it!! :fingerscrossed:

Shells - Hows things darl??

Hi to everyone else, I hope you are all well.

We did end up going camping the other weekend and although it was still drizzling rain, we had such a fantastic time. The kids had a ball!!! We are going again in a few weeks down to a beach front caravan park - so am officially addicted!!!

The plans are being drawn up for our extensions and the pool guys have been out and marked out the area for the pool. It looks so funny atm, just this big spray-painted pool on the dirt in the backyard :o

So the next few months will be interesting to say the least, Christmas, renovations, pool building and a new baby  Wow going to be busy.

See ya ladies!!!!!

Yeah DQ I do remember the same thing happening with you guys. I too believe everything happens for a reason so I know there is another plan for us atm.
LMAO at the drawn pool on the lawn:laughing: When is it to be completed? You'll love having a pool this summer, I'd be lost without ours I reckon, it's a great way to cool off but best of all its a fantastic way to wear the kids out so they sleep at night hahhaha:laughing:

Linda - We are adding bedrooms and an office for DH to our house, so all up we will have 7 bedrooms and a study

One for each of the kids and somewhere for DH to lock himself away when the kids go ferral

I also got an offer for a CSP in the Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare - Juvenille Justice) course I was telling you about, (I think I told you about it?) The only thing is the semester starting date is also my due date!!!!! So I'm not going back to the cops now, so our plan of me locking them up and you getting them out won't stand now  It will have to be, someone else locks them up, you get them out and I can try to reform them

I feel pretty chuffed because an old hag like me has still got the marks to compete with the HSC leavers!!! I still got a pretty good GPA too, if I do say so myself!!!

Jules - The pool SHOULD be in and ready by end February so may still get some swimming in this summer, but only just. It does look really funny just drawn on the dirt!!

I am so sorry you are so conflicted with the decisions you need to make regarding moving, TTC etc :hugs: I hate being clouded with decisions like that, I like to have a clear picture in my head of where things are heading. Hey Ladies!

Been a while since I have been in here. I started projects of making the kids there own Advent calendars that we can keep rather than buying the chocolate ones that we have to put in the fridge because they melt. I have one done and 3 to go so have to get my backside moving and get the rest done. I will be using the sewing machine for the rest as the hand sewing takes up to much of the time.

Julz - Sorry to hear that you will not be moving up here now.

Kell - I have not had a chance to get Jesse his christmas present yet. We have not been to Cairns yet so not been able to. There is nothing around here for us to get so have to wait till we get to Cairns and do the christmas shopping.

BBL and finish my post.

Toni - was wondering where you have been! The advent calendars sound good - yes i try to avoid the chocolate ones too - mainly cos my kids dont need them everyday - chocolate that is!! Hope you get them finished in time.

DQ - your house plans sound great - i would love to have more rooms!!!

Juls - Sorry also to hear that you are not heading here - but totally understand, its is a huge thing to do.

cmd - good luck with the job hunting and lucky you going to the movies!!

holly - great to see you popping in again, hope all is well, how are you yourself?

tali - hope things look up for you guys and a good job comes your way.

Not much happening here - hot and humid!!! I am having a child free day today - Ava has started daycare one day a week and loves it. i am meant to be studying today but need some me time:D. Our DS is really dragging us down at the moment - he is a very challenging child (though we love him to bits) - at 5 yrs old he is still good at chucking tantrums, is selfish and nothing is ever good enough. Hopefully starting school next yr he might mature abit!!:fingerscrossed:

Hey Lovelies!

Im still alive! Sorry for lack of posting:o

All is well here, altho poor lil Jordy is teething terribly. He has cut 4 of his molars all at once top and bottom. Plus some more at the front but now he has a big gap inbetween his front teeth and his molars, which I thought was strange. Bailey was never like this with teething. But then again he seemed to only cut one tooth at a time i think.

Shells- Thats great you get a YOU day! And Im sure daycare is great for Ava! I will be putting Jordan in for one day a week too as soon as a spot opens up!

Toni- The advent calendars sound awesome! What a great idea!!! Bet it saves you a fortune! And sounds like alot of fun too!

DQ- Due to my absense, did I miss something? U going back to study? Well done and Good on you!!! How exciting!

Linda- Firstly Ariane and Chloe are so devine! Your pics of face book are awesome, and you are one VERY yummy mummy!!! Congrats on weaning Ariane, means your TTC might be a little easier now! I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Jenni- OMG hun, Im so sorry to hear about Brendans job, that really sux... I hope he finds another one real soon. Is he still wanting to drive? OR willing to look for something different?

Julz- Sorry hun, are you not moving anymore? I really need to get in here more often, Im missing so much. How about the TTC? How is that going?

PK- Wow 30 weeks pregnant! How on earth did you get that far along so quick!!!!!!

Ange- Sorry your feeling down babe, we should try catch up before xmas, I wanna see how your doing :hugs:

Well I must go, My mum is picking me and Jordy up soon and taking us to Mt Gravatt to go shopping and have lunch coz Bailey is at kindy!

Have a great day xox

Firstly congrats to Linda on your pregnancy!!! I hope all goes smoothly through the next nine months :hugs:

I should be sleeping right now but am wide awake really :D We went to my mums for dinner tonight and Bella fell off a little kids chair and hit her head on the bookcase. She has a big lump on the back of her head. She screamed the place down cause i was trying to hold ice on it. I was all ready to go to the hospital but mum assured me she would be ok and she had seen alot worse (she works in a daycare centre). We kept her up for 2 more hours and she seemed fine. I was probably more upset than her :o. I just hate it when they hurt themselves...

Well Bella can run now and jump. She is learning new words often and eating like anything!!! My fussy eater has disappeared thats for sure.

Its nearly the end of the school year and then we will be moving sometime in the near future, hopefully by the time Jay goes back to school. I cant believe my little boy is almost 6yo and will be in grade 1 next year. Time moves on fast.

Anyways i must make a point of checking in here more often. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j304/chloe1405/?action=view&current=IMGA0002.jpg

Still too much reflection, the line is a little darker IRL and these brand of tests seem to have the dye come up in a very thin line :rolleyes:

Must buy a reputable brand very soon :D

Lil X-men
16-11-2008, 07:39
Oh theres no disputing those lines linda!! Even the IC one is obvious despite the pic being fuzzy! YAY YAY YAY!! :smiliedance:
I keep going to tell people IRL "guess what I have the best news!" and then I feel stupid coz I am jumping up and down exctied for a friend I never met lol. They think I am a bit loopy I think when I tell themyour news:laughing:
Oh cant wait for xmas to see what you got Zeke, how exciting!! I havent got A's yet I'll have to go shopping and see what I can find:yes:

Kerriane great to hear Bella is eating everything now, after the trouble you had with her at the start! I hope her head is healing ok. I know it's very upsetting when they bang themselves up.
I am getting rather used to it here as Zeke has turned into somewhat of a climber.
Last week he climbed the ladder of the bunks and fell backwards from the top. I had to take him to the emergency for xrays as he was limping.
I felt terrible that he might have broken something at 1yr old:( Luckily xrays came back clear and it concluded he was just sore from the fall.
So instantly we pulled the bunks down after that and So now the boys have the bunks covnerted to low line beds until they are old enough to climb the bunks sensibly again.
BUT you know what? Zeke again was playing rough and tumble with his big brother ON his lowline bed and managed to bump the bridge of his nose the the bed head. He swelled up huge and looked a startrek clingon for a week:laughing:.
I swear I need to wrap him in cotton wool to save him from himself sometimes lol!!

Lil X-men
16-11-2008, 07:53
Oh and Linda, that is freaky that you have the same rough due date!! Gosh this time next year is going be rather busy, impending birth ( or knowing that you go early baby will already be here lol) and A's second birthday!!

IF I am preggers this month then I will be due 6 days after Zeke's second birthday, Zeke was the 29th July I would be due the 4th August lol!!

Jules you may go earlier too, you were late with X, on time Z so you may go earlier! Plus girls don't like wating around too long, they are too impatient! hehehe Who knows, I might reach my EDD this time!

I did another IC cheapie this morning and it came back a little darker!:fingerscrossed: Oh and I did an opk and it was almost a + too! ;)

Hey Julz! YES definately come down for a visit, that would be lovely! Im trying to arrange to catch up with Tina so we can do our secret Santas, how about I see if Tina wants to come down the coast too. (if its not to far for fabienne in the car). Im free next week tho? What day would suit you? Other than Friday coz Im at work that day.

Linda- Another July bubba hey! WoW! Hope bub is not born on Arianes bday! Sorry to hear lil C is being "challenging" LOL! I went thro this about a week or two ago with both boys, I felt like I was heading to the Looney bin. Fortunately they have been Ok this week! Who knows what next week will bring tho! Hope your girls are good for you tomorrow while you wait for the great news!

Oh forgot to mention, Im off to the Dr again tomorrow. This damn tummy of mine is playing up again BIG time. Im over it and DH is freaking out at how bloated and in pain I am after every meal. I seriously look like I did at 6 months pregnant at night time and then by morning im back to flat and it slowly blows up over the course of the day and worse after eating. ARGH! So Im gonna demand a colonoscopy. I dont want one but I have been told by everyone that I should have one since the issue is making me feel so depressed. Thats my rant for the day! Sorry Linda, Ive probably just bought down the hype of such an awesomely positive thread...sorry guys! Sleep well all xox

Jules, hope you have a good sleep hun :hugs: I spoke to my FS as well as he knows I'm nervous about progesterone levels. He said thatif my prog levels are low he will call me tomorrow and arrange some progesterone pessaries for me :fingerscrossed: all my levels are good.

Leanne :hugs: please don't apologise, this thread isnt about just me! I recon its good you're having a colonoscopy, but i recon that they will find nothing. that what my tummy is like, pretty flat in the mornings then by night pooooooffffffffff 6 months pg looking! I've noticed certain foods make the swelling worse! So keep a diray, I know it sounds mundane but that way you can eliminate certain foods from your diet! Also, have they checked whether you have any bacteria in your intestines like Helicobactor (sp?) bcause they have special antibiotics that can eliminate that bacteria now, they've only been out fr a couple of years. One more Q, you really constipated?

If you go to the site peeonastick. you know what, you'll find it! actually I'm not even sure sure of the web address anymore (preg brain) so just google peeonastick and it should come up. Once you're on the webpage go to the HPT FAQ and it will have the question there. If you can't find it let me know!
Oh and my Gynae called me today, he said that my progesterone levels are higher this time round than they were with A at this point! He said they are "very high":D He wants me to take one pessarie a night anyway just to maintain those levels, he says it won't hurt and will give me peace of mind (He knows me well :D) and he said that he wants me to have a BT once a week till about 8 weeks to chekc my hcg and prog levels because he knows I'm very nervous! He is such a sweet amn, he was soooo happy for us!

Hello Ladies!

Yes I am alive. Shell texted me to see if everything was ok. I was at the doctors with Bryce. 2 of his cousins have whooping cough and he has the same symptons as they do so I wanted to get him checked out. Dr said it seems like it is a chest infection rather than whooping cough. He is on ventolin and an antibiotic and has to go back for a checkup next week.

Still doing the advent calenders slowly but getting there. They have had to be worked around everythign else that is going on.

Linda - Congratulations on your pregnancy. Hope all goes well throughout.

Sorry for lack of personals. Just thought I would come in and let everyone know how things have been. Thanks for the text Shell to see how everything was going.

Just back to say that I did a search on Bryce's antibiotic and it is for whooping cough so if it turns out that is what it is then he is already being treated for it.

Hey Toni glad to see you in here, sorry to hear Bryce is so unwell atm, I hope the infection clears up soon, poor little blighter!!
Hows the weather up there atm, nice and muggy for you?? It's nasty here atm, after the big storm the other day everything is wet wet wet and the humdity today is awful:crying:

Tara- Hey hun how are you doin, good to see you:)

OLT - Congrats on finding out the what your having:smiliedance:

DQ - I bet that was no mean feat getting them all to look at the camera I have a hard enough time getting two to look lol!!

Shells - Hows Ava doing, many more tanties lol?? Zeke's got this piercing squeal atm when he chucks a wobbly, it's horrible the little turd:p

Monique thanks for the well wishes, I love seeing pics of your family, how cute, Samara has such chubby little cheeks, but she still looks tiny up against Tyran he's so grown up now!!!

Linda - Complain all you want ms is the pits!! I bet you are still on cloud nine despite the ms though:cloud9:

Nothing new here today, took Zeke to story time at the library to give him some interaction, then went to a GF's for lunch we all had a nice catch up and it got my mind of ttc cr@p for a bit.
Just waiting for this next storm to come through so hopefully it might cool down a bit, I'm meeelllllting!!:wizard:

Jules, did you check out that website?

Yep, am still on :cloud9: but am trying to contain my excitement as I'm still nervous about you know the M word :o

Lil X-men
19-11-2008, 19:40
Linda yep I checked it out. I used to love that site when I was TTC Zeke, so much info for someone TTC. But I never read the FAQ's before, it is true that you can get a BFP on a diff day for a diff pregnancy. It's the cramps that I am getting that make me feel like I have lost out this month, more than the actual BFN's I think:yes:

It's understandable you are nervous hun, I think even the most confident person worries in the back of their mind about the dreaded m word. BUT everything will be fine, I have faith in Chloes words:D:D:D:D

19-11-2008, 20:28
Jules, you were confident I was pg this cycle, I wasn't and you were right, I'm now confident you are reg this cycle and those cramps you speak of match perfectly with implantation that has caused your temp to rise. Let's think scientifically here, your chart looks like it's going to be triphasic, it's a very steady chart, no erratic dips and rises, its very much like Zeke's and 37.2 is a high temp even for you!!!!!

Speaking of Chloe, she is freaking me out, she keeps saying "mummy my baby brother is coming soon" We havnt told her I'm pregnant yet as the whole world would know in a matter of days  I will completely freak out if she is right......doooroooroooorooooo...........:laughing :

Linda I thought I had done this but I mustn't have but

Congratulations:smiliedance: another fertile july mummy It must be extra special to have PCOS and have conceived naturally! I can't believe that your having another July baby how very exciting!!

Toni I hope your boy gets better soon. Oh jsut when your having a good run, ey!!

Julie I am sending very special baby vibes hoping that you have some news very soon:babydust2: It's good to get out and just forget about everything!

Thanks chickadee's for the Pm's. I actually went to a new US place and it was really nice. They have nice couches for partners to sit and a large plasma on the wall at the end of the bed for everyone to see the baby:flowerz: It was really nice laying back and being able to see everything. I could tell what sex the baby was though but I seem to have an eye for it and it does make it easy when the screen was a great size:p
You know what was really lovely is the lady gave each of the kids a photo of their baby to be. They were so excited they held them all day. Daylan put his on the fridge and I went into Atahlia's room and she said "look my baby _____ is on my mirror" and she had got blu tack and stuck it up:bee: It has gone up a lot though I paid $245.00

Had DH home for the day which was spent running from place to place. I finally got shakyla's 12 mnth immunisations they did it in her arms and I was used to them doing it in her legs. It was horrible but I am such a sook when it comes to pain and the kids.

I took Atahlia to get her school uniforms for next year. She looked so gorgeous in all of it and she was so proud I was near sooking in the change rooms, I was just so proud of her. I love her in the dress best with her hat on:bee:

I have to check out the secret santa thread I can't remember when we are suppose to be sending gifts..

Jules, I'm pretty confident about your chart (and my gut feeling! :D) Chloe is gifted I think. When she was little a couple of times she freaked DH and myself out. We were sitting on the lounge watching TV and she was playing near the kitchen, she stopped playing, walked over to us and sat on DH's lap. She started to look in the direction of where she was playing and was smirking at "something" and then hiding, as if she was shy. DH was like this   Things like that don't bother me, as I've experienced a couple of freaky things myself...dooorooorooorooo  A is nothing like C was though, I think C takes after me and my mum.
hope the storm has stopped *hugs*

Shilo....thanks! :D It is special conceiving naturally when you have PCOS, I feel "normal" KWIM? Your US sounds like it was lovely! I dont think we have anywhere in Perth like that. This little bubba is going to be so loved by it's older siblings! How lovely! Have you thought of any names yet? :D

Hey lovelies!

Its my wedding anniversary today! DH and I are 4 years married, and been together for 10.5 years!

As I type this Jordan is pulling everything out of the pantry :hair: But I have told him 100 times not to do, he doesnt listen so Im leaving him there while its keeping him quiet LOL! He always gets the weetbix box out and brings it to us, its a game and we tell him to take it back, he does then two minutes later he is in there again!

Well I got some meds from the Dr and he is suggesting a colonoscopy but has given me super strong Laxatives to clean me out sorry TMI! But I havent been to the loo for 2 weeks! Then I see him again on monday and he will discuss colonoscopy and taking some biopsies when they do that. I just wish they could figure this out, its doing my head in...

On a postive note tho...

Shilo- YAY! I was so thrilled to see your PM last night! I know your little bubba ??? is gonna be very much loved!

Linda- Wowee Chloe does sound gifted hun:yes: You said she will be like you and your mum, are you psychic? You will definately have to watch and see how she develops hun, imagine having your very own psychic daughter!!! How you feeling today?

Julz- Could the cramps your having be implantation? I know that I had terrible cramps the month I fell preg with Jordy that I already wrote that month off, and hey it must have been implantation!

TJ- Hello hun! How are you? Hey I see your starting a new job! What you doing? Good Luck! How is precious lil Lochie, my god he is cute!

Toni- How is Bryce today? Poor lil guy... Whooping cough is such a horrible thing, hope its not that.

Well its so hot and sticky here on the Gold Coast. Last I heard it was about 30 degrees where I am but it feels so much hotter coz its so muggy! Its nice to see the sun tho, its been so wet! Were expected to get more storms tonight.

Leanne happy Anniversary hun, hope you are having a lovely day!:flowerz:
Hope the laxitives do their job soon, you can get that colonoscopy done to get to the root of the problem.:fingerscrossed:
Jordan sounds like a crack up, I cant wait to see him again!!
it's gross here today too, this rain has just created terrible humidity, we have been swimming all afternoon to cool off.

Shilo your scan sounds awesome, I bet it was lovely to see bubba kicking away on the screen again, scans are my favourite thing in pregnancy such a special day I always count down to -getting to see your bub ( ok and finding out if it's pink or blue!:flowerz: I am pretty good at picking boys now since I have seen their bits both times, but I think a girl might be harder to pick I wouldnt know what to look for:o

Linda- I hope you are right, the cramps have pretty much gone today, for now anyway they might start up again tonight they seem to be more prevalent at night. Not feeling any preg symptoms though, my boobs aren't sore or anything so dunno the only thing to do now is hope for AF to NOT show up on Monday:fingerscrossed::babydust2:

Leanne Happy Anniversary! Did you guys do anything special? Jordan is soooo cute! A is so cheeky too, she opens up the plastics draw and starts throwing each and everyone out. Then she closes the draw and walks away........or she'll put a few toys in a box, take them out, put them back in and so on and so forth :laughing: Hey hun my BIL's Gastroenterologist does, wait for it............poo transplants! YES POO!!!! He recons that bloating and constipation is a result of bad bacteria in your gut, so he puts you on a strict diet to completely flush everything out then you get some "healthy" poo put um eerrrrgghhhhh you know where! and apparently it works! His patients are cured of bloating and constipation. He only does it for very extreme cases though. He is a real freak (in a good way) he was one of the drs on the team who created antibiotics to kill helicobacter bacteria. Interesting ay? Now am not suggesting you have a poo transplant, just thought I'd share

Julsey, wooohooooo for no more cramping, see told ya, little miss emby was digging herself deep!!:D

I'm doing ok. Its so amazing how all my pregnancies have been so diff! I can't seem to be able to get breakfast down, I can only eat lunch and dinner forget it, if i try I start to get nauseous. I just dont have much of an appetite! and smells! OMG , poor dogs, I know how they feel! LOL Itstarting to sink in that im pregnant, cant wait to experience #3 growing in my belly!

Hello Ladies!

Leanne -Happy Anniversary. Hope things start looking up for you and your tummy problems. That is funny about Jordan and getting in the pantry.

Bailey is forever in the draws playing with the cooking utensils and also we have the plastic cups and plates in a pot draw and he opens that and stacks and unstacks the cups and plates all the time. Funny thing happened with Bailey the other day though. I had given him a huge banana for his breaky and I was getting the cereal out of the pantry to give Bryce breaky and Bailey ran to the draw and got a bowl out for himself and gave it to me. He has done nothing like this before.

Julz - Sorry to hear about the hay fever and the spotting. Hope it all happens for you soon.

Shilo - That is great how well it went with the US and how they gave the kids a pic. Hops Shakyla is well after her needles.

Shell - OMG! I am so not liking this heat I am over it already and the 1st day of summer has not even come around yet. I wish the storms would come here to cool it all down. DH said it was 37 degrees here today.

Kell - Hope you are doing well and the pregnancy is treating you nicely. I got Jesse's christmas present yesterday and will post off as soon as I get a chance to. Probably on Thursday when I take Bryce to daycare.

Linda - I know how you feel with the morning sickness. I had it bad with Bryce and the only way that I felt and good was to try and sleep as much as I could. I know that is impossible for you though with C and A. Hope it ends soon and you can get back to some kind of normalsy.

Monique - Loving the pic of you and Samara sleeping and how cheeky is Tyran. Little Bugger!

Well not really any change with Bryce. I am pretty sure that it is whooping cough though. The symptons still all fit and they say that the cough can stick around for quite a few weeks after they have gotten it.

We got clipped in our car by tourists yesterday. Idiot was over the line on our side of the road and it was to late before DH noticed and they clipped our mirror and smashed it up. It was just hanging by the wires for the electrics. Cost us $165 to get a new mirror. Thank god it was easy enough for us to replace it ourselves. I think it is pointless even trying to get anything back off the hire car company for it though. The driver is just gunna say that it was not his fault like he said to us when we turned around to go back to them. No witnesses or anything so there just gunna say prove that it was his fault.

Well nothing much else happening. Hope everyone else is all well or as well as can be expected.

Love to all.

24-11-2008, 12:47
Jules, hope today has been a better day! :hugs::hugs:

toni, that sux about your car mirror! I agree, I recon it's probably not really worth chasing up, maye just give it one go and if they hassle you too much tell them where to go   Did you take any photos of the damaged mirror?

Not much happening here, still waiting for my BT results

Hope everyone is well!

DQ
24-11-2008, 13:16
Bummer about your car mirror Toni, I hate deceitful people like that. If you happen to know the hire car company, maybe you could ring them??? At least dob them into the hire car company cause they WILL have their details and possibly a credit card on file

Linda, hope you get your BT results soon.

Jules, I'm so sorry AF is on her way, stupid bl00dy AF, she knew she wasn't wanted.

Well things are so up in the air here right now. My mum has decided to up and leave to move to Brisbane and is going within the next 4 weeks. She said she would look after the kids for me went I went to hospy to have this baby, and she also said she would look after them for my besties wedding, which both DH and I are in the bridal party. But thats all gone by the wayside now. Mt Step father told me to get over it, but its fine for him cause both sets of his grandkids are in Brisbane aren't they

So have abruptly had to consider the option of homebirthing, although thats not going so well either :crying:

So I hereby find myself in somewhat of a mood :devil6: :D

Catch you all later

24-11-2008, 14:18
Toni what rude buggers!!!! So you are out of Pocket $160, how unfair!!

Linda - Gosh they are taking their time with your results aren't they:hissy:

DQ- That sux, how can your mum do that to you, this isn't the first time this has happened is it, I think I remember you having similar probs when you were preg last time didn't you?
Hmm wish I lived closer, I'd be more than happy to help you out. I hope there is some way around it all, friends close by or something. Is homebirth not going to work either huh??Best of luck working something out:fingerscrossed:

AF is here and heavy today, was pretty  this morning, all PMS'y but I feel better this arvo, cut out about 6 nappies I have to urgently get made for someone.
Zeke has a cold on top of his teething, he's all green boogery and has a gunky eye. Looks like my trip to see Leanne is going to have to be postponed for a week, kids always know how to time things dont they!

DQ
24-11-2008, 14:25

I really hope you can figure something out soon DQ, I'd hate for you to be filled with stress in the last weeks of this precious pregnancy:no:

Linda - Have they still not given you your results:banghead:

cmd'smum
24-11-2008, 20:34
Jules, no! :geek: I called a couple of hours ago and the receptionist said that the Dr had got my message to call him on Saturday so he should be giving me a call soon! WTF??? What about he should've already caled me? Anyway, Im going to call tomorrow morning and try again, if I dont get my results then and there I'm going to tell them to get my file, DHs, C & A's out and ready and that Im picking them up and taking them to a new GP :banghead:

My SIL is working tonight she's going to call the pathology company I got my bloods done at to try to get the results off them  (My regular GPs use a diff pathology company than the one my SIL works for) I will not go back to that medical centre anymore, this has been the last straw!:banghead:

How you doing? Hope AF is'nt treating you too badly :hugs:

DQ, :hugs: If I lived near you I would be there to help you at the drop of a hat!!! Fair enough your mum wants to move, but she should'nt have made you rely on her when you really needed to! Hope you gifure something out soon, what about your IL's?

DQ
25-11-2008, 09:58
what about your IL's?

 No way on earth.

My MIL yells at my kids and one SIL has no kids, therefore has NO IDEA and the other SIL has one "precious" only child and just cannot focus any attention on any other child.

Once she was here with her "precious" girl and was cleaning up a cut on my son's foot which was bleeding (she is a nurse). Blood was dripping everywhere and he was crying and her "precious" girl wanted a drink so she left my son and said "Oh he will just have to wait"

Hence the reason why I have taken the drastic steps towards a homebirth.

Homebirth was never for me, but now is kinda appealing. I just think I am doing it for the wrong reasons. HB is magical and spiritual which I think I would love, but am I only after the convenience of it all?

I also don't want to feel like a spoilt brat with my mum. I don't begrudge her moving to Brissy at all, not in the slightest, its just when she mentioned the move a few months ago, she did say she would not be going until March. :(

And then there is DH. As you all know I fought tooth and nail for this pregnancy and now I am trying to push him into something else. I just feel a bit brat like as I got my own way with the pregnancy, now I'm trying to get my own way with HB.

Anyway, enough :ecomcity: from me.

Linda any BT results yet?????

Lil X-men
25-11-2008, 20:44
Oh hun you aren't a brat your a DQ:p:p
NO seriously you deserve to have your birth the way you want it, this is your last after all and it is so unfair that your mum is moving now after she said she help out, as it is really putting you in a tough place.
As for the homebirth, you aren't really pushing DH for it, if there is noone to watch the kids then it really is the only option.
Maybe he would like to take all 5kids to hospital and watch them while you give birth, would he like that?lol, prolly not:laughing:
Hope you get it sorted soon, dont want you stressing out now:no:

Linda no results argggh:hair:

cmd'smum
26-11-2008, 01:25
Kell, I agree with Jules, you arn't a spoilt brat (Dh doesn't give you massages remember!:p) seriously dont think like that! I would be p***** too if my mum led me to believe I could depend on her for some help only for her to move away earlier than planned! As for Homebirth, if you are happy and comfortable birthing at home then go for it!:thumbsup: Doesnt matter what your reasons are! you obviously feel confident about this birth so go for it! ooowww how exciting!:yelclap: Your other option is to post your kiddies to Perth..lol

Nope, girls, no results (surprise surprise!) doesnt matter though, I went to a new GP today and they have requested our files from the old medical centre. I have to drop off a copy of my original blood tests to my new GP so they can add them to my recent BT results (once they have received my file) so they can be sent to my hospital so I can book in! I will be trying for a VBA2C :fingerscrossed:

Oh, I bought a couple of pieces of maternity clothing today :o tell you what though, I'm lucky as the fashion ATM is so suitable for a pregnant woman!

Oh girls... I need a vent... I have no idea what the hell is wrong with me. My tummy issues are really bad. Saw Dr again on Monday after seeing him last week. Sorry TMI but I hadnt done a #2 for over 2 weeks which is a normalish thing for me. Normally once a week if Im lucky. Anyway he gave me stuff to take, like a super strength lax and I got a measly result, definately not emptied out. Anyway went back and he put me on the stuff again. Its working this time then Ill have a colonoscopy and a biopsy. But Im so teary, I have cried nearly all morning. I feel like I hate being a mother, and that Im doing a terrible job. Im always snappy at the boys and I am just not happy... What is wrong with me:crying: Sorry girls just needed to get that out.

**Deep Breaths**

Ok, personals! **Puts my happy face back on:)**

Linda- Holy moly hun, still no results??? That is a joke. Good on you for changing Drs, it sounds like a very good idea! How you feeling? Any sickness?

DQ- OMFG...what is the go with your Mum. Clearly she is very unrelieable. I would be might P'd off too. I think homebirth is a great option, and probably the only other option you have babe so either your DH accepts that or he can take 5 kids up to the hospy while you give birth...I dont think so:p Just make sure you have the right medical support close by, you know, just incase you need it:yes:

Julz- ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! Does this AF chick just not know when she is not welcome... :-( Keep your chin up babe, unfortunately this month was not meant to be, but next month will be yours!!! I have my fingers and toes crossed for you! How is Zeke today? Hope his lil eye is cleared up.

Toni- Oh my, that is terrible about your car...What a bugger there were no witnesses... Karma hun, Karma! He will get his own back! How cute of lil Bailey getting his bowl! Awww! They learn the routine so quickly hey! Lil darling!

Have a lovely day ladies :hugs:

Hey Leanne, sorry you're feeling really crappy! :hugs: did you read my post about the poo transplant ? It might be a couple of pales back now, find it and read it! Have you been tested for helico bacteria? Or any other bacteria in your intestines/bowel??? You know, seems drastic a little but if your GI there can't do anything about your condition, there is a fantastic GI in Sydney (the poo transplant guy :D) that you can see, he gets referrals from all around Australia!

Does your tummy hurt too or is it just bloated?

DQ
26-11-2008, 14:53
Thanks girls. I feel slightly better about things after my little rant. :o

Linda - WTF??? Still no results??? Thats is down right bad service :shame: Hope the new place get your file quick smart so you can get your papers in order and get your referral to KEMH.

Leanne - you poor darling :hugs: I'm so sorry you are feeling so awful right now. Hopefully the second dose of this stuff will be enough to start to put things right. I hope you are feeling better soon. Remember, we all get shirty with our kids when we are sick or not feeling well. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Jules - Thanks for your kind words and you are right, I'm not a brat, I'm a DQ :D Might actually have to use that as my new mantra

Have a great week girlies!!!!!!!

Have a lovely day ladies :hugs:

:hugs: Leanne.

I am ever so sorry to hear how awful you're feeling, you poor little fing.

I don't have any answers for you, have you been tested for allergies? Might sound weird but I found out I am allergic to wheat and it has caused me a lot of trouble which is clearing up slowly now.

Yeah or helicobactor Pylori, I have had that which wasn't nice either.

Or otherwise all I can say is they'll need to look with a camera and or further testing somehow. You will need to demand some help, sometimes Dr's can be a bit 'whatever' about our issues at times.

You aren't a terrible Mother Honey, you are a fantastic Mother going through a tough time and you care so much about your boys to even think of yourself as terrible in the first place, they know you love them :)

PM me anytime, I can listen and try to help ya'.

The rest of you Gals, :hugs: Love reading your posts, thanks for sharing so much....I haven't been in much as per usual, still sorting stuff out at my end and like coming in when I am in a nice happy frame of mind that's all. I am on the mend and things are looking up.

Kell, what an awesome mantra  ooowww how exciting, you will be meeting your lil girl in a couple of months (I think she's going to arrive at 38 weeks, possibly a little earlier!)

BM, everything ok hun? Hope it is! We are here if you need to chat, remember that ok?

Leanne, BM is right, you are a fanastic mummy, I think we all put way too much pressure on ourselves! These past few days, I've just wanted to walk out of the house, thats how ferral the girls have been  and hey I'm having another one too!:o Hope you feel better soon!

Leanne you poor thing! I have had bowel issues in the past though nowhere near to that extent, so I somewhat imagine how awful you must be feeling but not totally.
I really hope they get this sorted for you soon, you cant keep going on like this!
I am sure once it is all sorted you will feel able to cope so much better physically and just as importantly emotionally. When you are unwell of course you aren't going to be quite as patient as normal, that is to be expected, dont feel bad about being a bit emotional or snappy, mate even on my best days I still catch myself out snapping at the boys for something when they push me one too many times.

Zeke is pretty good thanks hun, he's quite well in himself just snotty and rattly in the chest, so I think we'll give swimming lessons a miss this week to be safe.

He is now the proud owner of four molars  two up top and two down below. All cut at once, typical for my boys:rolleyes:

Linda - OMG I would be so livid with that other practice for not giving you your results. THats so rude and mean!! I feel for other patients who might be waiting on news of m/c or something to be left hanging like that @rseholes!!:banghead:
Hope your new doc is WAY better than that!!

DQ - Great mantra and FWIW I reckon a homebirth would be an awesome way to finish your baby birthing era( well that is unless a lucky no.7 comes along;)), I mean what a special memory to have!
I myself would love to HB, but my DH like yours probably, has reservations about medical safety and the fact that it costs an arm and leg in QLD .
He thinks why have a HB when it's free in the hospital ( dont get me wrong he is all for natural birth, just in a hospital enviroment as I guess he feels a bit powerless when I am in labour). Luckily my local hospy is pro VB and drug free delivery so will be supportive of my decisions. Goodluck with whatever you decide.

Ange- How you doin hun, good to hear from you. Hope things are going ok for you. Still want to catch up when you are feeling better one of these days soon:)

Well CD 4 here into my new cycle, hoping fora xmas :bfp:
This bloody hayfever is driving me batty but what can ya do lol!!

Hello everyone - im so sorry i have been missing in action for ages. No excuse really. Just been working and busy and not much time on the computer.

I havent read all the pages i missed out on but i did notice that you are not feeling the best Leanne and i hope u get some help and answers soon. My mum has been through similar situation and she was in terrible pain and discomfort. How r u feeling tonight?

I am enjoying working and Jay counts down the sleeps till i go to work cause he likes Daddy looking after him  (i think its the extra games they play, icecream and later bedtime lol). I just must be boring :D Bella is still breastfed but has cows milk when i am at work and goes to sleep without a feed from me easily. So its all going well.

Bella is saying more words this week and climbs everything!!! We have to really watch her because she moves things around so she can get to other things by climbing them. She loves her vegies now which is a bonus and is very social with other kids.

We are hoping to move house soon but have to wait till house sells. Otherwise we have a lease till mid Feb which is way too long cause Jay has to start school in January.

Just been doing some christmas shopping and getting organised. We wont be doing much as my mum will be having an operation next week and dont want to make any work for her at all.

OLT - did u get my pm about the christmas presents?? just need to get your address is all :D

Ange - hows things? It seems ages since we saw you and little Brianna! Would love to catch up before we move!

Hope everyone is ok tonight and the little toddlers arent causing too much havoc :raspberry::hair:

Hey there K,

Yes love to see you before you move...it's been a long time. My fault for being so unavailable LOL. I have been a crazy woman really and this rest has been amazing for me :) Well I know it's not rest with two Toddlers at home, but rest as in a Social and Mental way LOL.

Yes B is the same K, she climbs on everything, I often find her walking or sitting on top of the Dining room table or Connor's Train table or walking across the lounge flicking the lights on and off at the wall (reaching across standing on the arm of couch), eeeek, she scares me. I have to put up all of the dining chairs, move the kids play table and other such step type devices so that she can't hurt herself as I cannot watch her 24/7. She says a lot too and her allergies are really improving. I still have to get her to sleep through the night yet as she isn't eating a lot yet...very particular and fussy with food but that is understandable with all of the issues she has had in the past. She is going to be gluten and dairy free at least until she's 2 and see how we go with introducing a small amount of wheat and or dairy food (like yoghurt) when she's a bit older, I am over the moon, it's so amazing and I cry such happy tears for her.

Glad to hear Bella is doing so well :hugs:

Oh and yes Julz we do have to catch up soon, I have quite a few people I would love to catch up with and see before Christmas that's for sure....don't things just get so hectic at home with kids things on and DH's things too? What with Swimming lessons, Christmas Parties, going to Nanny and Poppy's, Daycare, Grandma & Grandpa, Doctor's, Birthday's etc.

CMD's Mum, thanks Hon I know you are there, thanks so much...I am o'kay.

DQ good luck with the Homebirthing thing if it goes to plan, you can do it....I am so happy for you. I am sure your DH will understand.

How many teeth does everyone's Toddler's have? B still only has 6 (4 top and 2 bottom), makes it hard for her to chew properly.

Better go, got to get out to shops this morning and wait for the fridge guy to come fix our fridge door this afternoon (never know when he'll call, grrr).

Hi everyone - its quiet in here!!!

Ange - would love to catch up soon and at this stage we are moving in the next couple of weeks so r u free any day soon???

Leanne - cant make it this Tuesday as we are house hunting and i have to work that day too. Hope u are feeling alright at the moment!

Well we have had some news this week. Firstly we will probably need to move by the 23rd Dec as long as the contract goes through ok. Secondly, DH has just been made redundant as of Friday. the company made the whole factory redundant in their lunch hour with no notice. So DH will have to look for new work. so everything is in the process of change at the moment. We are looking at 3 houses tomorrow to rent and they look very nice on the internet. Moving house is such a big job especially when we both have to find more work. But we are still really looking forward to it.

Well i must be going and hope everyone is having a great weekend

OLT - please pm me your address as i have the pressie to send off!!!:noel:

Hey girls!

Well its been another hot and humid day here! Been out and about at the shops with my Mum today, was nice!

Had a lovely day with Julz, Tina and Jenn yesterday! The kidlets ran a muck and had a ball! My Christmas tree got a workout:laughing: Jordan wont stop touching it now LOL! They were all so well behaved tho! And us girls had a great chat, some fake wine and lots of yummy food! Tina- Thank you so much for Jordans secret santa pressie (not so secret LOL) he loves it...as does Bailey!

Jordan has a double ear infection that we discovered monday after having a full night of him screaming, but by yesterday after some antibiotics and a huge sleep he is much better! Today is also alot happier... I feel like a bad mother tho as he has been unsettled lately and I just assumed teething:(

Tummy- well thats going ok at the moment, but I will still go back and see the Dr next week and get this colonoscopy and Tina also gave me the number of a Naturopath who I will see in the new year.

Ok to personals...

Jeni- Im so glad that Tali is loving Daycare, Im gonna put Jordy in for 1 day a week in the new year!

Keriane- Oh my goodness... what a terrible thing to happen at this time of year especially. Wishing your DH luck getting a new job and finding a new place. Can you up your hours at work to help out in the meantime?

Ange- Im so glad to hear the Bs allergies are improving but I bet you cant wait for the day when you dont have to worry so much about her food intake of dairy etc. Jordan is a climber too! Scary hey! Bailey never climbed, did Connor?

Julz- how is your hayfever today hun? And what about your Bro in law, did he work last night?

Linda- Hows things hun? Any morning sickness? Hope that lil bubba is growing along nicely!

DQ- how is things with you hun?

Ok, hubby is home so I better go!

Luv and hugs to you all! :hugs:

Jayisa I will pm you now:o I haven't been on BH for a while so didn't realise you were trying to get me!! I will be posting tomorrow:)

Julz How are you going with TTC?

Toni Where are you? Still playing peel a meal? lol

Boysmum OMG I love your avatar!! It's such a gorgeous pic:yes: I am glad she is a lot better with the allergies but it sounds like you need a good nights sleep

Leanne - I hope his ear infection gets better soon poor darling. Oh and I hear you on the tree situation although Shakyla seemed to only be interested the first night and then got over it real quick.

Oh don't you love this time of year barely time to sit!!

We had our AGM for the kinder last night and I am staying on but plan on not doing as much this year.

I have everything ready for my big girl to start school. We got her books, shoes and uniform and everytime we get something I get all:( about it. I cannot believe this year has gone so fast. A lovely friend gave me a family and friends 40% voucher for williams and mathers shoes so I got her shoes for $40 :smiliedance: and they are the cutest little things on.

Shakyla is such a toddler now and is such a loving li'l one but she has such a top attitude lol. I think she is how I was as a child as my mum has told me since I was young that I was very 'don't touch me" and she is just the same. Very much a mummy girl and is cheeky. Mark was doing the vacuuming and I watched her walk up turn the dial to boost and run, yes run away laughing. Mark was standing there looking at the vac head thinking he had sucked something up it was very funny!

We have a busy few days with breakups my brothers 30th and the kids dance concerts oh and my nieces concert on sunday night. So for the next 4 nights the kids will be having late ones.

Well better go and pack our picnic for playgroups concert they are having all the groups together for Paul Jamieson do a concert for the kids and they are all so excited.

 Shilo- How is this pregnancy treating you? Hope lil Bubba is behaving and growing beautifully and your feeling glowing! Im laughing so much at Shakyla pressing the vacuum, cheeky lil thing! LOL! And Im not looking forward to the day my boys start school, Ill have every emotion under the sun!

All is going well here, caught up with some of my Gold coast bubhub friends today and thier kids! Was lovely but Jordy was quite unsettled and tired so we came home but I did squeeze in some morning tea! YUMMO! I have a Dr appt this arvo to check out his ears and hopefully the antibiotics have worked :fingerscrossed:

Its so hot here today! Wish we could go down to wet and wild for a swim but with Jordys ears I dont want to risk it, altho may do this arvo if my Mum will watch him while I take Bailey down.

Have a great day girls xox

Hello Ladies!

Kell - I posted Jesse's present off today. Hope things are going well with the pregnancy and the pool and renos are coming along well. What a bummer about your mum moving. I would be so peeved as well seen as though all the plans were set out with your mum looking after your other kids. Hope all works out well with the planning of the home birth.

Leanne - Hope your tummy issues really settle down and it is all over for you soon. Hope Jordan is feeling much better now.

Shilo - HAHA. Yes! still playing peal a meal. I am addicted to that game now lol. Hope your pregnacy is going well and that you are not running yourself off your feet with other things.

Jenn - I can't believe you will be moving again as well. You sould like us moving around all the time lol. Hope Tali is doing well.

Kerieanne - Sorry to hear about DH work. Hope he finds a new decent job soon. Not something you need at this time of the year and aslo when you are having to move as well. All the expenses with moving are phenomenol even if it is not that big of a move.

Ange - So good to hear from you. I was wondering about a week or so ago how you and your family were doing. OMG at B climbing on things. Bailey is getting the same. He gets up on the lounges and jumps and flops between them. It scares me but I just leave him if he is not to bad. I think if he fell he might think about doing it as much lol.

Linda - How are things going with you. Have you got news about blood tests etc yet or have I missed something? I saw that you changed doctors and requested that all your files be sent over to them. Hope all is well.

Julz - Bailey has been teething for the past 3 months with his 4 molars and only 2 are fully out so far. I am so glad that he is not an unhappy teether or I would be going completly grey and pulling my hair out lol. Hope the hayfever has settled for you.

We have been quite busy. I have been helping out a bit with some dance concert stuff and still have not completly finished off the kids advent calenders. I got 3 done and cut out the other set. Marieanne is just using Baileys this year as Bailey does not understand and he does not really need it. I will finish it off and put it away so I don't have to worry about finishing it off next year lol.

We went and had a picninc at the lake where we go camping at on Sunday. The kids had a swim and Bryce had a good play on the playground. While we were sitting down eating lunch Bryce fell off the picnic bench and smashed his head on the concrete. He was lucky that it did not split his head open where he had it glued earlier this year. He had the biggest pump and is still there a little bit now.

Bailey is getting cheakier and cheakier. He keeps changing the channel on the TV and running when Bryce is watching it. He knows exactly what button to press every time lol.

Marieanne had her year 7 graduation on Tuesday night. We did not go as we have had the car overheating and did not find out if we were going to have to get it fixed or not until the numbers for grad had to be handed in. I can't believe that she is in high school next year! She also had her orientation day at the high school on Tuesday. Monday is girl guides breakup for the year.

Kira has dance concert rehersal today and then the concert is tomorrow and Saturday night. She then has an excursion to Cairns next Tuesday. Her class is going swimming at the lagoon on the esplanade. She can't wait. Oh and Tuesday night is Dance breakup party as well.

Not much happening with me other than busy busy and I can't wait to get away for 4 days over christmas. HD also has 2 weeks off in January and we are going to go and stay with my grandparents for the first week and we are going to help my grandma get some things done around the house as she has not been able to since grandad has gotten really sick. It is to the point where she can not fully care for him for much longer as it is to much for her. She has looked into getting him into the home and has to get together the money for the bond before she can do that. The second week we are going to go off camping somewhere again. We did Tully a few years ago and I want to do that agin so we may look into going down there for a few days.

Well not much else and I think I have blabbered on long enough lol. Hope everyone is doing well and has a great christmas.

I would be so peeved as well seen as though all the plans were set out with your mum looking after your other kids. Hope all works out well with the planning of the home birth..

I have had Bailey's present sitting here for about 3 weeks now :o I WILL post it off (I promise) on Monday.

No homebirth for me. $$$$ are a big factor as well as my previous pregnancy issues and DH didn't feel comfortable with the idea. I respect that as I wasn't 100% comfortable either. So never mind. Would have felt quite weird as all the others have been born in the same hospital and the same labour ward (except for Kaleb, he was born in the theatre room ). All the middies there know me (frequent flyer :o) so wouldn't be the same IYKWIM??

Renos and pool have been put on hold for a little while, while we wait to see what interest rates are going to do in the new year. I don't think things would have started much before then anyhow.

You sound like you have so much on over the coming weeks. Hope you can find some time for yourself in all that!!!

DQ - hows things - got your pool yet (joking)

Funny you should say that Shells, because ever since we signed the contract for the pool, the weather here has been cr@p. Hasn't topped 17 degrees since and has been wet and windy :banghead:

Anyhoo, thats about it from me. Nothing exciting happening at all.

MIL is coming to stay in a few days  So I have decided to book a camping trip next weekend to make sure she only stays a few days MAX :devil6:

Hey everyone:wave:

I hope everyone is traveling along well. DQ Not long now!!!

Linda I hope you are doing a lot better I hate morning sickness and trying to manage the other kids. I actually have had a few bad days myself but I think it's just how busy we have been and it's making me sick.

Monique it's great to see you popping in, it must be hard with all your li'l ones.

My little ones have been sick. Shakyla had a really bad ear and throat infection and had a temp for a week!! Every time the panadol would wear off she would flare up and she was just so grumpy poor thing. It was the sickest she has been so far so she was showered with lots of cuddles poor thing. Daylan also had it bad but Atahlia only had it mildly (thank god). We haven't had a full nights sleep in a week and a half and I am feeling it.

I am getting so excited about christmas:yes: We have had little time to actually prepare this year as I just can't find the time. Half our lights are yet to be put up and I still have presents to get... I had troubles at Big W the last few days. I went to make a payment and they put it through that I was picking it up and they couldn't reverse it so they had to put the entire lay by back on. Mind you I bluntly told them I had to go because I was suppose to be at a kinder mums house for morning tea:rolleyes: Anyway I went back to make sure they had fixed it and there were several items missing including my daughters cd player:banghead: So here I am with Atahlia and Daylan and the staff kept telling me the items they had lost while my daughter was listening!!!!! I think I told them 4 times not to say what it is, there was one girl that was great about keeping it all hush hush but the other one had no idea!! So anyway there is still a few items missing but I managed to get the cd player for her.

We had Atahlia's Kinder Concert and she was so cute as a Ragdoll in Santa's work shop, lol. :bee: Tuesday is her last day and it's really just the breakup, I have put my name down and I have the video cam ready for it, Mark took the day off work as they wanted helpers without siblings as Santa will be popping in.

Oh my little lady has started smiling everytime we take a pic of her it's so gorgeous.. I will have to post some pics later.

Hello everyone.....long time no chat...AGAIN!! I am very slack. Have been very busy with Ziggi and work but now have some time up my sleeve to catch up on everything, now that I am on maternity leave!! Only feels like yesterday that I was having Ziggi!!

Anyway wanted to pop on and wish everyone a

MERRY CHRISTMAS:reindeer:

We are on the official "1 week to go before Christmas" countdown. Ziggi seems interested in Christmas this year and I can't wait to see her little face on Christmas morning!!

I've had a quick read and it is good to hear that all your bubbas are growing well and are happy.

Goodluck to Julz with TTC - I'm sure we will be hearing some news soon!!

Congrats to CMD, OLT and DQ on your pregnancies - all the best over Christmas and hope the heat is kind to you!!

I had a quick look at the photos and I can't believe how much they have all changed and grown.

I am now heading towards 35 weeks and little man will be here soon (hopefully around 38 weeks due to induction). Ziggi has no idea that her little world is about to change.

To everyone else take care and have a wonderful Christmas with your families. Will catch up soon.

35 weeks already wow you'll be a mum of two within the next month how exciting!! Ziggi is going to get the surprise of a lifetime when her brother is born, dont worry she'll be fine, they adjust so well to siblings, much better than we all expect.
Yep we are on the countdown to xmas now, Xavier is very excited about santa coming this year and Zeke, well he doesn't really have a clue what it's all about but copies whatever his big bro does so he gets all excited too haha!!

Dont think there will be any good news for us this xmas in the pregnancy dept, AF is almost here again unfortunately so we move onto our 5th month of TTC, this is starting to get really old now:hissy:

Hope everyone else is well, I bet you are all busy busy busy in the lead up to xmas.:xmastree:

Hi everyone

OLT - hope your kids are all better for chrstmas

Julz - i really hope you get a bub soon!!! You have probably already said so but are u still moving house or going to stay where u are?

Would like to wish everyone a merry christmas and a wonderful new year!!! :xmastree: Have been offline for awhile due to Telstra taking so long to fix our internet . We are moving house on the 23rd Dec so will be offline again for awhile but hopefully not too long...

At the moment our house is all packed up in the lounge ready to move on tuesday. Isabella keeps trying to climb the boxes and generally get into mischief lol. She is saying alot more words now like bird, sure, bye, Jay, Gecko, pretty (for christmas lights) and some others. She loves to eat and play outside. I took her and Jay to the park today and they had a ball.

Our July babies are not really "babies" anymore - they are now little toddlers. This time last year they were only 5 months old. Time sure goes fast.

Have a great week getting ready for christmas!!

Hello Ladies!

It has been a bit hectic around here for the past couple of weeks trying to get ready for christmas and camping.

We went shopping last Wednesday and had Bryce and Bailey with us and Bryce thinks that all the toys are for Bailey lol. Not going to work out like that next year though.

Well I am off to get some more stuff done around the house and ready for camping.

If I don't get back in before we leave.

Have A Merry Christmas :xmastree: and a Happy New Year.

 Hello Lovely Ladies!

It's been a real long time, i'm so sorry i haven't checked in more often.

Been a hell of a busy year, renovating the house, which has been tough between the three kids and i'm back working nights, but the good news is we sold it last week, and we are moving to a newer better one in less than month!

Kids are all great, Ethan starts school next month, which i'm so sad about, savanna starts pre-school, and Wynter is growing up too quick! I wish i was having more babies, cause i'm really not ready for them to all grow up already.

Anyway i will try my best to check in more often, especially after the move. Congratulations to the Mummies who are up the duff again, expecting more little miracles, and good luck to those trying for more little miracles...

Big hugs to everyone and their beautiful families

Mj wonderful to hear from you!! I know how you feel with being so busy and also about how you feel with your son starting school. My DD is starting school as well and I am :crying: about it. It's when they really do start growing up and being so independent.

Lil xmen I just had a sticky at your TTC diary.. I hope you are feeling better and it's nothing serious..

Shakyla actually had a bit of an accident yesterday. She ripped a big chunk of her finger off. Daylan said she was flushing the toilet for him and her finger got stuck but DH and I have looked and there is no way her finger could have got stuck:confused: DS was in DD1's room on her laptop so I think he just guessed.. Anyway my poor baby cried and screamed all the way to the Dr's, I was beside myself it looked horrible and I felt so sad for her.. She has it in a bandage and I am surprised she has left it on. Back to her normal self but yesterday she was grizzly, I think it was just a bit painful for her..

Shakyla is starting to chat so much and she knows how to get what she wants with her gorgeous cheekiness.

The other night I went to the toilet (the kids one) and thought I heard little footsteps and then thought No it couldn't be.. Anyway I headed down the corridor and I heard them and there was Shakyla in the pitch black dark standing at the lounge room doorway. I went up0 to her and the cheeky devil pointed to the TV telling me to turn it on.. It was 3AM!! So I took her back to bed and after an hour she finally went back to sleep.. LOL

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year. We sure did:thumbsup:

We are loving the holidays so much time with the kids and no rushing around.
Pregnancy is going really well SPD is playing up a bit but I am managing. It really helps not rushing around so much..

Anyway will come on and see what everyone else is up to..

I am loving this age though. When they are doing so many new things every day, it's very cute..

Your right about the talking. It just seems to start to register and then they don't stop.

Her finger is doing really well, thanks. She was great kept it all bandaged..

We went to the pet shop to get some more hermit crabs and came home with 2 birds as well. Shakyla just loves them. She was at the cage kissing it saying "hello" over and over it was the cutest thing.. When I moved them (fear of her pulling on the cage) she went to the table and got her little chair and took it in with the birds, standing on it so she could watch them.:goodvibes::cloud9:

Anyhoo I am off to bed as I had an early morning:sleeping:

I know I haven't been posting regularly but wanted to let you know that bubba boy is here! Dash Gregory was born on the 11th January at 37+6 weeks weighing 7lb 12oz. He looks quite a bit like Ziggi.

How did it all go, and how is your little fellow, is he is a good baby?
How does Ziggy like being big sister??
I hope you are all doing well, and oh you better change your ticker, you're not pregnant anymore lol:laughing:

Hi everyone else, sorry for my slackness in posting I have been busy and too lazy to post lol.

HI - Shilo how are you going hun, so cute Shakyla asking for TV at 3am haha!!
How is your pregnancy progressing are you feeling well?

Hi Shells! - How are you? Yes they sure are getting to that challenging age now aren't they. I am noticing with Zeke he can chuck a fair wobbly when he doesn't get his way sometimes. He's getting better as he learns new words though, he knows if he wants something he wont get it by whinging, he has to say "ta".
Hope summer isn't treating you too badly up there, were you affected by the flooding at all??

THings here are great, Xavier is just so grown up now, I can t believe he'll be in prep next year:eek:
Zeke is starting one day a week at kindy this week, purely for his own social interaction, he loves it there I always have to drag him kicking and screaming out of there when I drop Xavier off so I thought one day a week will do him a world of good. I am a little nervous though, I have never been away from him a whole day so I think I I am going to have anxiety issues over it lol:o
Still TTC here no luck so far, hopefully 2009 brings us our much wanted baby.:fingerscrossed:

I hope everyone else is well, pop in girls and update us!!

I really hope you have some success in TTC very soon. :goodvibes:

It's hot here!! Holidays have been busy busy. We took the kids to Phillip Island and we had so much fun with them. Shakyla did really well until the penguin parade as she was wanting her milk and wanted to run around. When we walked back and saw all the penguins heading to their burrows she was so excited pointing and saying "Duck" lol..

Shakyla has become my new taste critic, she has started saying "YUCK" pulling a face and handing me the food,lol...

Anyway pregnancy is well although I have a specialist appointment due to the Blood condition I have. Growing huge this pregnancy though. Everytime I bump into everyone they are shocked at how big my belly is..

Jennie, Tali is looking like such a lovely little girl now in her pics I see, how cute.

Julz sorry to hear what a tough time you've had with Zeke's first day at Care. I was a little nervous for B, but mostly happy for her I think (I still get a bit anxious every time I drop them both off to tell the truth). I only ever want them to have a great fun day and not to ever feel upset without me, so I know how much it hurts when you hear or know about their crying. Bet in a few weeks he will be acting like he owns the place LOL, B does.

Hi girls how are we all, we need to revive this thread come on!!!!!!!!!!!:smiliedance::smiliedance::smiliedanc e:

How are everyones little people?
Zeke is a terror now, still cute and cuddly as ever but full on trouble and so cheeky:shame:
He is at daycare one day a week now, we have tears everytime I leave and it's so hard I cried myself the first two weeks, but once I am gone he is ok and has a blast, especially since his brother is in the room next to him so they get to see each other through the gate at playtime out side. some times the girls let him go through with Xavier to play together so cute, they are such close brothers:cloud9:

Anyhoo other than that we are busy here as usual and still TTC no.3 not sure whats going on there anymore but it's getting a tad frustrating now.

Kell - How are you hun, I have been checking your pregnancy diary not long to go at all now, all the best for your birth it will be fantastic!!!

Linda - How are you going with your new little man is he good sleeper and feeder?

Linda cmdsmum- How are you hun, haven't chatted in awhile, I hope you are almost out of the ms phase now and looking forward to your Morph scan in a few weeks time!!

Toni - How did the kids go getting back to school not too much difficulty I hope. I too cant believe how fast our babies have grown up, I went through the boys draws today and had a clean out, Zeke has grown so much I had to cull alot out, but luckily Xavier has grown too so I have a heap of hand me downs for Zeke ( poor second child with hand me downs lmao:laughing:)

OLT - How did your DD's first day of school go, I bet it was emotional for you all, I am excited and VERY nervous about Xaviers first day at prep next year already lol!!

Jen - Great to hear Tali is at daycare now too and loving it, I can imagine she would she's a confident wee girl!!

Ange - How are you doing hun, look forward to catching up with you and your cuties sometime soon. :)

Well thats about all from me, hope to hear how you and your families are all doing soon!!

Glad to hear your boys are well, and don't worry my girls are TERRORS too!!!

I'm well and truly over the m/s now, have been for a while! Am 16 weeks tomorrow and have just started feeling bubbles/flutters! :D I have a scan next tuesday (17th) ecause I'm just so paranoid about the pregnancy! Will see if they can tell me the sex :D will update you asap ofcourse!;)

Oh, BTW, did you hear Bel_Aiden had a baby girl? :D So happy for her! Mate most of the July 07 mums ave had girls for their next bubs! So funny as in July 07 most of them had boys!

Oh and GUESS WHAT? I got a job as a Law Lecturer! It's only 6 hours a week ,but I so need to get out and do something for myself before bubs arrives! Plus it keeps me in touch with current laws!

DQ should be popping any day now, am keeping a close eye on her pregnancy diary and announcements thread!

Anyway, better get to bed, have an 8.30am class tomorrow morning!

Love you all
xo.

Hi Linda, thats fantastic about your job congrats!!:yelclap: that will be great time out for you, use your brain for something other than motherly duties lol:laughing:
Good to hear the ms is gone, I think I was 16weeks when it subsided for me last pregnancy.
Awww your first flutters, thats awesome :cloud9: Cant wait to feel all of that again one day!
ETA: Thats great A is in Kindy now too, and that she enjoys it, I hate how they cry so much when you leave but are happy as larry playing in the afternoon when you go back to pick them up, they love to pull at our heart strings!

Congrats to Bel Aiden on her little girl wow that came around quickly!! She will so happy to have a little girl I bet:p

Cant wait to hear some news on Kellies bubba go DQ :smiliedance::goodvibes:

G'Day Julz and Linda...been a while....again!! Hi to all!!

Julz: Hope you are well and the boys are thriving. Can't believe it has been around about six months since all the Brisbane girls met up in Roma Street....I wonder how the girls and bubs are going (would love an update if any of you are reading this hehe) Had a look at your chart - I have my fingers crossed for you....testing any day now oooooh!

Linda: Glad to hear that the pregnancy is going well. You are nearly half way!! I love the 20 week scan and finding out bubs sex. This is when I start to relax during pregnancy and I then enjoy the second half! All the best at your scan.

AFM: I am enjoying being a mum second time round. Dash is just delightful and is packing on the weight. He is one month old tomorrow and has already gained a kg (that doesn't include the weight lost after birth...so about 1.3kg altogether)....think he is going to be a chubba bubba (too cute!!). He is a reflux bub (mild) but is controlled nicely with thickened formula.....can't complain because he doesn't scream/cry with pain, nor is his sleep interrupted....he just has discomfort and plasters a room with vomit. I will post a pic of him when I work out how. He is so cute I could eat him!! The whole 'boy package' and changing nappies is a challenge though. Much prefer to change Z's nappy!! Anyway, better go. Everyone is asleep and have 100% ME time for a few hours YEAH!!

Take care everyone!!

HI Linda~
Glad to hear Dash is such a good baby he sounds like a real dream bubba despite reflux though it's good he's not in any discomfort.
How does Ziggy like being a big sister has she coped with the transition well?
I bet she loves her bro. I know my boys are super close I love how much they look out for each other.
LOL about the nappy changing, I wouldn't know any different having only boys, I think it's easy haha. I guess I'll learn otherwise if I get a girl one day.........
Enjoy your me time hun, I am atm too, just done my workout and now am going to sit down at the TV for a bit of R & R before bed.

Thanks for the luck with testing:babydust2:
I havent seen any of the Brissy girls for a little while either, I hope they and their bubs are well!:)

Hey ladies

I am so sorry I have been soooooooo slack :o I have had so much going on the last few months and I haven't had a chance to catch up with what I want to catch up on the hub. Moderating sure takes a lot of time out sometimes, but I am now on mod maternity leave so I thought I should take the opportunity to finally come back in and say hello!!!

Jules, I am so sorry this TTC journey is being so unkind. I so wait in anticipation each month to see your BFP in your TTC diary. I know its coming, I hope you can hold on a bit longer as you are so deserving of it :hugs: Always here to lend a shoulder should you need one.

Toni - how you going??

Linda - Congratulations on the birth of Dash, he sounds so devine :cloud9:

Shilo - Count down for you now hun??? Hope you are feeling well.

Shells - Thanks so much for the PM you brightened my day :sunshine:

Linda - Can you get an earlier scan, I don't want to wait till March to find out if bub is a blue one or not? :D

Hi to everyone else. Where is Leanne, the beautiful Leanne? I hope you and the boys are doing well hun.

Me: I'm plodding along nicely. 11 days till my EDD and my BP is perfect. Wouldn't you know it after all these years of the hospital telling me how sick I am, there has never been anything wrong with me. Anyhoo, my homebirth plans are all set in motion now, the birth pool is blown up and ready to go, just waiting on a baby!!!

DH said when we first found out we were pregnant this time that bub would be born on his birthday (15th) so he may just be right after all!!!

Take care and will try and pop in more often. I'm always thinking of you all though!!!

Hi Kellie, Like I said have been stalking your diary in anticipation for bubs arrival, not long to go now! You must be so excited about your HB, it's going to be amazing I can't wait to hear the story!:cloud9::cloud9:
Fantastic how your BP is so good, you know I reckon the lack of stress this time around as opposed to last time probably has alot to do with it, see HB is going to be better for your baby even from now as mum is so much calmer!:goodvibes:

Goodluck hun and hope you are enjoying the remainder of your pregnancy.

well not so great here , my temp dropped again today, fertility friend has even taken away my cross hairs saying i didn't O this month. I know I did but now it's just waiting for AF, which isn't far off going my the cramps I am getting . I'd like to take a break from TTC for a month, but I am so into it now I dont know if I can lol, too much of a control freak:o

Hello everyone!!!

Linda OMG your now a pink lady!! Congrats on your new job :yelclap: Your game though being pregnant and with 2 other little ones. I am sure you will enjoy it though!

DQ I just realised you wouldn't have long and decided to pop over and see how you're going. How did you go organising the kids for while your in hospital?

Julie.. What can I say, you must be getting a bit shirty with the TTC!! How are your boys?

Atahlia is loving prep and has settled so well. There was NO tears she loves it. Comes home telling me of her adventures and what she has been learning.

Daylan and Shakyla are fantastic and so quiet when the big sis is at school. It's a lot less messy having the 2 of them, lol... Atahlia is home today and all she has done is pull things out for her brother and her to play teachers and mums and dads..:hair: When it's daylan he just pulls a little bit out and plays for a long time in the one spot.. Hope it lasts:)

The pregnancy is going really well. I am at Monash hospital now seeing a specialist but bubby is going really well. Measuring a fabulous 2 weeks ahead of what I am:eek: but we all know how wrong measurements can be, RIGHT?!;)

I have finally started organising a few things in preparation for baby.. I haven't had a chance before now. We needed a new pram so I ordered 1 and I am hoping they contact me ASAP so I can start paying for it and we needed a new car seat for DS and the new bubba. All money I tell ya!!

I am glad the hot hot hot weather has gone for now..
Better go and organise dinner as I plan on going grocery shopping after DH gets home:wave:

Hi girls! Glad you are doing well!

Julz, I've been following your chart and TBH I was wondering why FF put in cross hairs because to me it didn't look like you had Od this month? (sorry!:()

Why does it do that, it should be honest. It did it to my friend twice and there is no way she sould have od in those 2 cycles. Her temps were everywhere!

Lil X-men
18-02-2009, 19:05
Hi Shilo good to see you pop in!
I bet it is super quiet with just two kids at home now, you'll be enjoying the peace. THats great Atahlia is enjoying school, thats one less thing to worry about. Not long now until you are graced with a new bub too, gosh I cant believe how many of us are having babies or have already had babies, when it still seems not long ago at all we were pregnant with our July 07 babies, time goes soo fast.

Linda - Yeah it would seem I didn't O this month, but I thought it you didnt O that AF would be delayed, yet instead it came a couple of days early. I have never had an annovulatory cycle before, I really hope it was just a fluke cycle and not a sign of things to come.:fingerscrossed:
SO how are you enjoying being mod and hows the job have you started yet???
Not long till the big scan now am hanging out to hear!!;););)

Not much happening here, we had a power cut last night, which killed our PC, so am using the laptop atm grrr, at least we have a back up I suppose.

Zeke is doing well, growing into a clever little fellow, still has massive seperation anxiety when he goes to daycare which has been tough though.
I feel so bad and wonder whether I should just take him out for now. But they assure me he is getting better every week, so will stick it out for now.
I have noticed he is becoming alot more social around other kids now, and also other adults, he used to hate being picked up or even talked to by adults other than DH and I so it's nice to see him interact with people. Still a shrimpy wee man not quite 10kgs yet and quite short so he doesn't look skinny at all, just very petite beside all his daycare buddies.

Anyhoo better get these boys to bed:cloud9:

Hello Ladies!

I really need to come in here more often again. I just don't seem to have the time lately with things that are going on around here. We have been going out alot on the weekends, either camping or just fishing or going over to friends and then during the week catching up on things around the house and trying to keep it somewhat tidy lol. I will have to try and take a bit more time out.

Well we are all doing good. The boys DH and I all had a tummy bug but are all well now. Bryce is really enjoying his one day a week daycare now. DH took him in before he started work last Thursday and there were no other kids there and he cried. Usually I take him in later in the morning when the kids are all there but I was still feeling sick and was not up to walking him in.

Have been thinking of putting Bailey into daycare the same day as Bryce as well but don't know if I will or not. It would be nice to have a day to myself. Bailey still ends up being in bed from around 11:30 - 12 to 3:30 - 4 and still goes to bed by 8 at night so I pretty much have a few hours to myself that day anyhow. I'm sure it would be good for him though and sometimes he does not want to leave when we drop Bryce off.

Girls are doing good in school. DD1 comes home every afternoon and does not shutup about what the kids do at high school. Have to tell her shutuppppp sometimes or she don't stop lol.

Julz - Do you know what to do with yourself the day both boys are in care? Lol I bet it feels strange not having to get up wodering what Zeke is getting into. Hope next month is a good month for you. Be strong it will happen soon.

Linda - Oh wow I can't believe taht you are almost half way in the pregnacy. That has gone so fast. Congrats on the new job also and on becoming a pink lady.

Linda - Great to hear that things are going well with Dash. I also found it a bit strange at first having a boy after having 2 girls. You get used to it though lol.

Kell - Good to hear that you have everything sorted for the HB. Can't wait to hear the good news that bub has finally decided to come into the big world.

Shilo - Great to hear that Atahlia is enjoying prep. I know what you mean with the kids, toys and mess etc. The house is quite good when both the girls are away and the boys don't make much of a mess and then when there all home it looks like a cyclone has gone through the house lol. Glad the PG is going well. Not to long to go now. I had a look at the pics on your facebook of Atahlias b'day, she looks very proud and happy.

Jenn - Gald to hear all is going well with your family. Hope Talis legs are good and the bowing she has she grows out of as she gets older. We took Bryce in to a specialist when he was about a year old as his feet were turned right in when he walked. He grew out of it though.

Hope everyone is doing well and our not so little bubbas and the new little ones are all doing great.

Love to all.

DQ - Giving that little bubba a virtual nudge :goodvibes: hope it's not too much longer for you:fingerscrossed:

Ally - So bummed I couldn't get down there, would love to have met you!!!!Hope you had an awesome time:)

Toni - Good to see you back luv! Glad Bryce likes daycare now. It is good having a day to myself now that Zeke is in, I can go to the gym and get so much done around the house without the interruptions. Last week I shampooed all the carpets int he house very productive! I dread dropping Zeke at daycare though, he cries so much I feel awful, luckily they let him play with Xavier sometimes throughout the day and that cheers him up. I hope Bailey doesn't do that for you if you decide to put him in, but mate you will fill up your day quicksmart if you do dont worry lol!!

Is anyone elses kids really full on atm? Zeke is fine when Xavier is home but when it's just me and Zeke at home he just wont leave me alone, wants food and entertainment CONSTANTLY he wont give me a break for five seconds, plus his day naps seem to have shortened down to less than an hour sometimes. Arghh it drove me up the wall today and I feel so drained. Am not used to this as Xavier was never really like this that I can remember.

Hi girls! have missed you all!

Julz, A is the same as Z. She follows me around all day wanting to be entertained! What am i going to do when bubs comes along? :hair:
You can get your AF earlier if you don't O and it's quite normal to have an anoovulatory cycle every now and again, very common  I think it was a one off so try and not stress about it :hugs: We know you O 99% of the time :D

Kell, i'm going to have a chat to that baby girl of yours and tell her to "roll out" :p I can't wait to see what she looks like, how exciting! Hope your "bride" hasn't been giving you a hard time.

Well all is good here. I have my scan on thursday. Am very nervous, just want bus to be healthy, this is a very lazy one, I can hardly feel any kicks/flutters!

Anyway girls, better go, lots to do, bbl to catch up more!

Linda Oh I love scans:D Do you know how your placenta is? With Shakyla I could barely feel her but it was due to my placenta being at the front..

DQ Ohh I feel your pain of late bubba's!!! If she only knew how much mummy is waiting to meet her.

Toni You sound like you are having lots of weekend fun!! I have been trying to talk DH into going camping but he is DEAD against it. I know I will get my way once I bring a tent home, lol.. Atahlia had a ball at her birthday party and I had a such a relaxing time compared to previous parties.

Jules I am lucky to have someone else always here with shakyla. Even when Daylan goes to kinder next year I will have the new baby as her new playfriend. I will say though Shakyla is always after food or drinks so that much we have in common, lol.. Oh and Shakyla is much more social as well. We visited a family member she doesn't know and they asked her for a kiss and she kissed them twice without hesitation. It's similar with mil she doesn't know her that well but will happily say goodbye to her. Several months ago no one could hold her but DH and I and mainly just me. Now she happily plays with other children and is not frightened as much by adults.

Not much happening here other than the usual.

Shakyla had her needle today:( and she cried for a little while, poor little mite. She was a bit grumpy tonight but other than that she was fine.

We have picked up an extra playgroup day and the kids now do dancing during the week so I am completely flat out. Mind you I have freed the weekend up as we were missing a lot of dancing due to other commitments. So for now (until Daylan Starts soccer) I have my weekends free for socialising:yes:

This new baby will rarely have a day at home unlike my 1st 2, I guess they get use to it. Shakyla has been great like that sleeps anywhere if she is tired. Oh I finally got the pram I ordered so I think I have everything ready for the baby:smiliedance:

Shilo - I am glad I am not along in regards to the food, OMG I think he is going to eat me out of house and home lol. Constantly asking for food. I guess he's trying to catch up in size to his peers lol!

THats great you will have kids to entertain each other at home, I def find it hard on days when it is just Zeke and I , he gets bored easily. I love how my boys keep each other entertained. Even though sometimes they fight a bit.
Hope S is ok today after her needles yesterday. I havent had Zeke done yet, been a bit slack I'll book him in for next week.

Hello Ladies!

OMG! I can't believe it has been 2 weeks since I posted in here.

Kell - Congrats on the birth of Matilda. How does it feel knowing that she is your last one? Sometimes I wish to have more kids but I know in my mind that 4 is well and truly enough for us.

Linda - Congrats on having another girl. Hope all is going well.

Shilo - How long left now. I still don't know how you do it with all the running around and everything lol.

Not much going on here. Took Bailey to the doctors last Thursday and he has been on antibiotics since then with a broncial infection. Bryce also has a cold and I think I do a little to as my allergy symptoms seem to be a bit worse than normal.

Congrats Kell, I loved your birth story, what an amazing story!!! I hope my next is a joyous as that. How is Matilda going, is she being a good bubby for her mummy and are the other kids enjoying their sister?

Kerriane - Good to hear from you and that your move went well. Are you enjoying being on the "other side "? Hope you have made some friends over there. Goodluck to your DH I hope he finds work soon:fingerscrossed:

Shellsbub - HI hun how are you, busy by the sounds of things. We you affected by the flooding and cyclones up there at all? I hope not.:fingerscrossed:
I agree with them being switched on, I notice how much faster Zeke learns things than Xavier did at the same age, they just copy everything their sibling do, little sponges!!

Shilo -How are you doing hun, not long to go now how many weeks are you?
Thats great Shakyla is getting more social now too, and you must find it a big help having another sibling for her to play with all the time at home, I find the day we have alone together very draining as Zeke wants me to play with him allllllllllllllllll day lol, it's cute though he loves his mummy so much!:cloud9:
Oh exciting what sort of pram did you order?

Linda - How is your baby girl doing inside, kicking alot I bet hehe?? How are C and A? Are you working at all now?

Toni - Hope you are feeling better soon and the boys are over their bugs soon too, how have you faired with all the rain this summer??

AFM - Well things have been suoer busy here, DH's business is finishing up in July so we have to sell our lovely new car * sob* it's ok but a shame I loved it. We'll buy another cheaper one probably when we get back from our NZ holiday now that time is running short.
Yes we head to NZ on the 8th April, gosh it has come up quick. We are going for my SIL's wedding in the Malborough sounds, it's going to be beautiful.

Looks like AF is on the way yet again for me, so we will be taking TTC casually this next month while get ready to travel and try and forget about it all while we are away. Will reasess every thing when we get back, arghh though I dread it, this TTC business has turned into groundhog day it's so old and repetitive now.

DQ How is little Matilda going? I am so happy for you and your family. I hope everyone is settling in nicely with your new bundle of joy :goodvibes:

Toni How are you feeling and how are the kids going. It's horrible when your energy levels are low and you still have a household to run. Hopefully you have bounced back:fingerscrossed:

Shellsbub How is ava going? I am sure she has picked somethings up from her other siblings you would be amazed how much they do learn from the others.. Not just the good either:laughing:

Julz Oh that really sucks that you have to get rid of the car and also that DH's business is ending. What is he going to do after he has finished? I bet you cannot wait for the wedding. I am sure it will be gorgeous. Are you a part of the bridal party? I would send you TTC vibes but they don't seem to be very helpful so I just hope that after your holiday everything works out:goodvibes:

Baby is going well and apparently growing "very well" she moves around so much it's just amazing.

One of my Besties organised a surprise baby shower on Wednesday. I had no idea and when everyone arrived it took a little while to figure out what was going on, even after they handed me all these presents. Apparently I had a priceless look on my face. I wasn't feeling the best after a night spent mostly awake and told DH I wasn't going to go and he was kind of pushing me, lol.. Little did I know he was in on it!!! Bubby got lots of stuff and I really enjoyed being pampered.

Your all right not long to go at all. It's all flying so fast DH and I still have to get the basinett out and set up a few things but I am sure it won't take long.

I got the girls new beds and we will be setting Shakyla up in her big bed when the beds arrive. Atahlia can't wait for her sister to share her room they are going to have so much fun,... for now..

Shakyla had her 18mnth check and she is doing really good. She wasn't happy being stripped for the weighing but once I cuddled her she was fine. She weighs just over 11kgs and I am sure she was 82 or 87cms I will have to have a look and get back on that one. The MCHN was a bit funny though because she got the book and asked Shakyla to point to a cat, which she did and then she asked me to get her to point out a colour. Then she asked me if she is starting to count:confused: I looked at her really puzzled. She then realised that DD is only 19mnths...

Went out last night to my besties for a housewarming party childfree which was just lovely. DH watched the kids and I went into the city where she lives and it was just really nice although I did make her very clucky all she did was hold onto my belly and I mean hold on to the whole tummy!!

Anyway I am off, DS fell asleep at 5 this arvo and wouldn't wake so guess who has just come out all chatty and bubbly. I told him he can have a warm milk and then sleep on the couch with DD1. Cross fingers he goes back to sleep

Shilo hi! DH is going to go back to his old job when the business finishes , he hadn't actually given it up anyway he was just working that and the buisness doing over 90 hours a week, it was far too much , so we will be fine there. His job is very stable and good money so we'll be sticking for awhile now I think till this economic crisis is over anyway......
NZ is going to be awesome I'll post some piccys when I get back. I am not part of the bridal party although Xavier is the pageboy/ ring bearer so he is very excited about that.

Shakyla is doing well growth wise isn't she? I put Zeke weight and stuff in the stats thread the other day coz I also had him weighed etc at his 18month vax appt ( he was 19months old at the time though). He is 10.5kgs and 80cms tall, pretty shrimpy still for a boy but he's growing hehe.
Bit strange that the nurse thought she was so much older, poor S being expected to know her colours lol!!
How very sweet of your friends to organise a surprise baby shower for you, thats so lovely I bet you felt loved!:goodvibes:
Good on you for a having a night out on your own last night , making the most of it before bubs comes huh?

OH I have to have a little brag about something Zeke has gobsmacked me with, might not seem like much but it is for us. Zeke has started telling me when he wants to go "wees" and leads me to the toilet, makes me take his nappy off and proceeds to sit on the loo!! He is yet to actually do a wee but wow I am just so amazed at how clever and switched on he is, Xavier didn't show interest in TT till he was over 2.5 so it's really exciting. I guess having watched his big bro go to the toilet all the time has inspired him lol. I am hoping this means an easier road to TT this time :fingerscrossed:

 It has gone very quiet in here:( I guess all of us are getting busier with our toddlers.

Not long for me to go. I am in the final stage and both DH and I are getting so excited about meeting our little baby. The kidlets are as well. When I ask Shakyla where the baby is she runs over and grabs my belly and kisses it. It's funny because half the time I am asking her to find her doll not the baby in my tummy:laughing: It feels so special though.

Looking forward to school holidays with my DD 1 it will be nice to have her home with all of us:goodvibes:

I had Shakyla's naming day and I will say it all was perfect, no stress and so very laid back when we got home. I am aiming to have one very similar for this bubba and I will wait until she is a little older as Shakyla really enjoyed it and is at an age where she mingled and we mingled which is always great:thumbsup:

I hope your all well and maybe next time I am on it will be to pm you all and let you know I am in labour:fingerscrossed:

Ohh jules sounds great about the TT how is he going with it all? I hope it is easier for you this time. I have been lucky with both of mine. DD and DS were both trained night and day by 2 1/2 so I am hoping when I do it with Shakyla that she will pick it up just as easily:fingerscrossed:

Hello Ladies!

I know I have been a bit slack in here lately.

Since last Wednesday we have had Bailey up almost all night every night. Thought it was just teething till Saturday when I noticed sores in his mouth. Took him to the ER and they said that it was oral thrush, got meds for it but they did not do anything so took him to the dotors yesterday and he is now on antibiotics. It has been so horrible. All he does is whinge and scream and then when you go to give him the meds he screams even more and then if you bump his gums with the syringe it makes them bleed. He is doing much better today and slept almost all night and in his own cot and not our bed.

Shilo - That is great surprise with the baby shower. Hope everything is going well.

Julz - Wow that is amazing with Zeke. Bailey has not even started to do anything like that yet. Still not even saying anything muh yet. He is like Bryce. Bryce did not talk much and then when he did start talking he didn't shut up lol.

Kell - Hope all is going well with the new bub.

Jenn - Hope all is going well and Brenden finds some work soon. I would not be to worried about Tali and toilet training. She will do it when she is ready.

My sisters house got broken into Fri night and my eldest niece saw the silouette of the person. She absolutly freaked and is going through some counceling at school from the incedent. They found the person that night. Sad story really. His dad passed away not to long ago and his mum does not care what he does or what happens to him, he is only 17. He was drunk and high and had no idea of what he was doing. He did recall breaking in somewhere but had no idea where.

Sister also got a slap across the face by my eldest nieces best friends mother as well because her daughter decided to move out of home because of all the rubbish that goes on at home. So the mum was calling my sis a child stealer. She did actually take her daughter from the house in the middle of the night on Friday because of what happened with the house getting broken into but it was only because my niece wanted her and it was not really up to my sis to tell her mum that she was going it should of been the daughter to do that. But she has not been home since. It is all a mess and my sis is going to go and talk to the police about it all today and get it all sorted. She is only 15 or turning 15 and I think legal age to move out of home is like 16 so they have to go in and talk about why she does not want to be living there anymore.

So as you can see life has been pretty hectic at the moment around here lol.

We are going camping again over the easter break with some friends so should be fun.

Well that is all for now.

Love to all.

Hello Ladies!

Shilo - Congratulations on the birth of your little girl. Hope all is going well.

Hello to everyone else and hope everyone had a great easter.

We went away camping for easter and had the best relaxing 4 days.

Kira got something in her foot over the break up at the river and we took her to the doctors yesterday and we got sent up to the hospital with her. They took xrays and nothing showed in it. They took a look at it and cannulated her and gave her a dose of IV antibiotics and sent her home with a round of antibiotics.

Love to all.

Just popping in to announce the arrival of our little girl Jaylina Kyra Born at 2.00pm Easter Saturday (11/4/09) 9lbs 6 oz (4250gms) She is a delight and the children love her to bits. :cloud9::bee:

I would say this was the best labour I have had as the staff at the hospital were wonderful and listened to me. It could have helped that I wasn't put on the drip to speed things up and she wasn't posterior:smiliedance:

We are doing well just enjoying our time as a family of 6. Hubby is home for 4 weeks which is just so lovely:valentine:

Shakyla is so loving towards her. Everytime baby wakes or we pick her up Shakyla runs for the couch and lifts her hands up opening and shutting them as she wants to hold her. Then smothers her with kisses, lol.

Breastfeeding beautifully and sleeping well at the moment:yes:

Hello Ladies!

Shilo - Congratulations again on the birth of Jaylina. Good to hear everything is going great and you had a great birth.

Hope everyone is doing good.

We have to move house again. I know we were going to move but we were not planning on it so soon. The idiot owners actually took the house off the market and are now moving there son in. They have not even called and spoken to us to let us know what they are doing we have found out from friends of ours. We have to be out by the 30th May. We went to the real estates yesterday and are awaiting word on a house that we went and looked at. It is on the market to be sold because it has taken so long for it to be rented out. We said we would take it if they take it off the market and fence the one side of the yard that is not fenced.

Anyhow I am off. Think I should start packing up anything that I can.

Take Care and Love to all.

Hi everyone, how are we all?? We are all fine here, Ava is a real little girl now. Today we went to the shops and she had to walk and had her own handbag:laughing:- so cute, but in saying that she can be a real handful at times - Little Miss Mischief:D

Shilo - its great to hear about your new DD and bet your kiddies are loving having her around

Toni - you poor thing:hugs: - i really feel for you having to move again and its so hard to find decent places these days and with enough room for a big family

Jules- how was the holiday, life back to normal now

Ally - great to see you popping in:wave:

Shell - Awwwww how gorgeous !!!!!

cutiepiesmum - Welcome ! Yes they grow up quick, we wont be enrolling yet because at this point we assume G will go to the same school Boof will be at next year so it should be ok ! G has a few words within the realm of normal but isnt as talkative as most but he has been delayed with a lot of his milestones due to health issues so we arent worried yet ( although I do have moments LOL ! ) plus he is also a lot more laidback than his brother so he possibly just isnt talking even though he can iykwim ! If you are unsure then maybe have a chat with your CHN or g.p but they usually dont 'stress' until after 2yrs I am told !

Well lovelies I just wanted to come in & wish you all a wonderful day tomorrow !!!!

You are all amazing mummies & I really hope you get spoilt rotten !!!!!

Looking quickly through the thread looks like there are new bubs and soon to be new bubs :smiliedance:Congratulations!!!:smiliedance:

Shell if Ava is Little Miss Mischief then Elliot is Mr Mischief! Out of all 3 boys he is has to be the most cheeky, gets into everything, and has aboslutly no fear - you hear of those kids jumping off bunks that would be Elliot if we had them up!!

Elliot is going well, keeps me on my toes, not saying many words yet - but a lot more vocal the Travis was at this age (Travis still going through speech therapy and is being tested for other delays. ) and I am hoping he will be like Aden who was a bit later then usual but once he started (around 2) hasn't stop since!!

cutiepiesmum: Welcome to Bubhub! I have MIA for awhile and thought I would come back and say hello. Not worrying about applying for schools till the year before they start, and Elliot will be going to the same school has his two brothers. What Ally said in speech, usually they don't worry too much until 2, although I have heard some peadtricians giving referalls out at 18 months. Personall I would wait till 2.

Ally it took me awhile to work out who you were at first LOL - can I blame the tiredness and the glass of wine

Off to get some work done while the kids are happy watching cartoons :)

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! :flowerz:

Hello Ladies!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Hope everyone is having a great day.

cutiepiesmum - Welcome to the group. My DS Bailey was born on the 24th as well and is well on his way to getting into mischief and has a reall good attitude and is a real sook but also is not talking a real lot either. He is like his brother was as he did not talk much till he was well over the age of 2 and when he started he didn't shut up. I'm sure everything is fine and your DDis just a late bloomer with her talking.

Hope everyone is doing well. Thigs are starting to get some order around here with only a few more boxes of things to be sorted through. Kira is in new school and really enjoying it. Says she like it alot better than her old school and already has more frinds than she did at her old school.

Love to all.

Hi all..

Jkate wow it has been such a long time. It is sooo good to see you pop in :)

Happy belated mothers days all. I had a great mothers day very relaxed, it was nice.

Toni.. ahhh the joys of packing.. Done that 1 too many times :(..

Well we have some exciting news.. No I am NOT preggars.. We are buying a house:smiliedance: Finally!! We are having heaps of fun looking although it is hectic with school, playgroups, dance and social commitments and thats not including having a newborn. I find the agents bend over to fit you in when you have the spare time but really I have hardly any minutes spare..

Shakyla is just beautiful. She has just such a wonderful cheeky personality. She is going through a stage of yelling at us if we don't do something she like and it usually comes with something being hurled across the room.. It is truly hilarious. She is really starting to chat and make little friends. Loving her sister and is really into the breastfeeding dollies. Mind you I am a little over breastfeeding her dolls lol.. Every time I feed jaylina she will bring captain feathersword or a doll and demand I feed it.. I the faze ends soon but I think it's great she is watching a pretend breastfeeding.. It's gorgeous.

Well considering I was going to bed at 10.30 and ended up on farm town with a friend chatting I better go now before I don't get up and all of us ready in time for school!!

Pink kisses.. tell me about the 2 yr old parties it is soooo close and it has gone way way way too fast..

Hello Ladies!

Jeni - Congrats on the pregnancy and like the others have said try not to worry to much it will all work out, it always does.

Shilo - Congrats on looking around for a house to buy, how exciting! Bailey is the same with hurling stuff across the room if it is something that he is not allowed to do or you don't do something for him. He is also bad with biting, he gets frustrated if Bryce has something he wants. Bryce is the only one that he bites though.

Monique - I can't believe that Samara is 9 months already. Seems like it was only yesterday. The kids are just gorgeous. Tyran is such a little spunk!

Linda - Hope all is going well with the pregnancy. Not to long to go now.

Well not to much happening here. Really loving the move to the new area. We socialise with the neighbours alot here and do BBQ's and football nights, go reef and river fishing. It is awesome. DH and I went fishing at the reef on Saturday and I caught 7 coral trout and DH caught 2 and he also caught 3 mackeril. It was a awesome day and we brang home 30 fish in total.

My cockatiel died on friday. I was so upset as I have been spending so much time with him lately and I have had him for almost 2 years now. He broke one of his blood wings and it wouldn't stop bleeding. I was trying to help stop it but it didn't happen. If I was in town I would have been straight down to the vets but it's a bit hard from where we are at now. The kids were really cut up as well.

Love to all.

Linda, I am going to have to work REEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL hard to swing him. If at all. He has a referral for a vasectomy, but hasn't done anything about it yet, and said he won't until the new year, so there is still hope :fingerscrossed:

Maybe :(

I have said "I'm not doing this again" with every pregnancy I think :o I don't really mean it though  (or I do at the time)

Sending lots of VBAC vibes your way hun :goodvibes: not long now.

Matilda is going great, almost 4 months old already  Goes way too fast.

All is well here - we actually head off on holidays on sunday to Tassie (just Dh, Ava and myself are going, 2 eldest are staying with my MIL) we are going for the week - should be good but the weather will be a big culture shock as it doesnt get very cold where we are (has been getting down to 16 degrees at night lately which is cooler !!!) but yeah some places in Tassie are getting into the minuses at night!! All fun though!!!
Ok well i will make sure i check in here more often.

Kell, M is gorgeous!!! :D Hey if your DH hasn't had the vasectomy yet, there is still hope! I think if he was that serious about getting it done, he would've already arranged it! Thanks for the VBAC vibes, I would love to have a natural birth this time, I'm going to be so :gloomy: if i end up with another c/section!

Shells, the girls are great thanks! Hope your kiddies are well too, have a fantastic time in Tassie!! I'd love to go there for a holiday!
