I am from Corio and would love to meet others in a simliar situation to me - due on Dec 31st so 8 weeks now. No other kids - first one is pretty scary! I moved to Aus about 2.5 years ago from England and my mum is still over there so I am missing her!

I've recently started working, but I sometimes go to the Playgroup in Clifton Springs. They meet every monday and friday from 10-12 in a room at Clifton Springs golf club. Don't worry if your 5 month old doesn't play so much, it's just as much for the mum's to have a chat and a coffee! (if not more:))
You're very welcome to drop in a couple of times (no cost) and if you want to stay for the whole term it's about $20.
Also have a look on playgroup.vic.gov (I think that's right) for groups in Leopold and Drysdale.
