DH was on the phone yesterday to centrelink about something else so just asked them while he had them on the line. They said we need to take our CO form into centrelink:confused: I know this can't be right because we already sent the CO form away and it has been accepted by the FAO. With DD, the payment just came into our account when she was about 18 months I think, but she was fully vacced so not sure if it is different with DS. Anyone know? I can't seem to find anything online, they have forms to fill in, but I really don't think I did any of that for DD, it just came in.

anyone?
If you are not vaxxing, and you want the payment, you will need to submit the CO to family tax/medicare/centrelink (I'm fairly sure all of them accept it) BEFORE your childs 2nd birthday, or you may well miss out.
Make sure you take a photocopy of it with you, and get them to stamp it and initial/sign it as a kind of receipt, as they are notorious at losing the things, and it really helps to have the proof that you submitted it on a certain day, before the cutoff, it you have any issues.

I did already send off the CO form, I didn't keep a copy or anything but I have an updated record of DS' immunisation status and it says it is up to date for the family tax office, so the CO form has been received and accepted. Just wondering if the payment will just come in automatically when DS is a certain age, or if we have to fill out a form to receive it.
Oh gotcha! Yeah, it should just come through automatically then...my two did, no worries :)
