I'm posting this for a friend of mine, her daughters both have really, really narrow feet and finding shoes to fit them is just a nightmare.
She's sure she can't be the only mum in Brisbane with kids with skinny feet  Does anyone know of ANYWHERE in Brisbane that does narrow kid's shoes?

Go to DJ's or Myer & get them fitted by a Clark's Qualified Fitter. Other stores have CQF's as well, but they should definitely be able to get one if they go there. They will also have a good range as well. Clarks are expensive, but they are far & away the best for narrow feet.

Thanks for the tip! Do you need to make an appointment to see one of the fitters? My kids and I all have nice average sized feet, so I've never had to think about this sort of thing before :D
Betts kids also do clarks fittings and clarks go down to a E width I think.
The shoes cost anything from $55.00 up I think (unless they are in the sale).
They have one at Mt Gravatt shopping centre (next to pumpkin patch).
There is a store in Stones corner that does them as well, sorry don't know the name though :(

There is a kids shoe shop at Westfield Chermside, I think it is called Tammys or something like that. I drive from the other side of town to go there. My DD1 has slim feet and really skinny ankles. The staff are brilliant and they always seem to have what you need.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll pass them on. I know she's been to Betts at Garden City - her DD2's feet are so little that not even they could fit her!

No, you don't need an appointment at all. The reason I suggested Myer or DJ's is that all the staff there who work in the children's shoe dept should be trained fitters. I worked at Betts & Betts & also at Mathers/Williams and most of us were, but not all.
Good luck, my daughter is 14 and I am still looking. Beards at Stones Corner are fantastic for school shoes, they keep a record of your childs fittings for years.
Dress shoes are another issue, I have spoken to a few people over the years and was recently told about a childrens shoe store in Brisabne called Tiffany, they cater for narrow fitting shoes, it was advertised in Brisbanes Child mag about 6 months ago i think. My daughters foot is to long for childrens shoes now so i didn't really look into to much. Good luck.
