centrelink question

DD had her first night alone with her daddy, besides the fact that my boobs were like melons by the next day, she didnt really enjoy her stay. :(

Only the sleeping part.

Me and him have spoken and think that it would be best if he just stayed here with her the night so she didnt get too upset and Boobie would still be available.

He really wants to make the effort with her as he has been very slack! :shame:

I am just worried about centrelink.

Does anyone know the deal with the Ex's staying over night at your place?

I'm sorry to crash your Single Parents thread but I've been there before and wanted to help.

As far as I know, if you have a male stay at your house more than 2 nights a week every week (this is classified as regular) then you must advise Centrelink as they then assume that you're in a relationship with this man. So if your ex is only staying there once a week/fortnight then it's perfectly fine and you don't have to advise them.

My friend has her childs dad sleep over 3 nights per week as his house is not suitable to have the child stay there....she was told that was ok by centrelink...think it's best to give them a call and ask...just to be on the safe side :)
