I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this?

I was at my Uncles on the weekend and he told me a new way of tenderising steak. Basically he said to mash one kiwifruit into pulp and then rub onto a piece of steak half an hour before cooking. You then wipe it all off and cook it. I have never heard of this before but he is raving about it.

Have you tried this?

I've never heard about it either..

Dad rubs sugar into his steaks and lets them sit for a while with it.
Works out well.
