Hi

Can anyone recomend a jogger that is excellent for off road? I would love to go walking along our local walking paths, but there are a lot of dirt sections and rough terrain.

Thanks

Madi.

Yeh someone might know, have u asked a baby shop? I did a stupid thing and brought a heavy pram and its quiet big so getting it in to my small boot might be interesting lol

I'm considering the mountain buggy terrain, but I already have a large pram (waste of money, used twice, not good for walking) and I have a stroller as well which is good for shopping, but not for walking, so I want to make the right choice this time!!

Hi, we havea Phil and Teds pram and are very happy with it. The other one we considered was the Mountain Buggy, ended up getting the P&T as you can attach a toddler seat if you have another baby, whereas MB you don't have the option.

The main shrtcomings with the P&T are that some people would say the basket is too small underneath, also Choice magazine doesn't like the toddler attachment, says it is unstable and dangerous as it is possible for kids to stick fingers in the wheels I think (found this out after getting our pram!). Don't knwo how much of an issue that is, lots of my friends have the toddler seat on and have had no probs.

Main advantage of P&T for me is that it is light (8.5-9kg) and you have to watch out because many of the jogger prams are really heavy. Also easy to fold up and put away, narrow enough to fit through checkout aisles (also a problem for some jogger prams)

Hope that helps,
Sue

Hi,

I have a Beema pram that is made by Swallow and sold by Babyco. There is a deluxe model "Beema Q" that is 2kg lighter but otherwise is no different. They are a great pram - Choice's best pram last year.

I take mine to soccer fields to watch hubby and for walks over all sorts of terrain and found it fantastic. The basic model is about $280 I think.

Hi
We use a mountain buggy and have taken it on all sorts of terain (beach, sand dunes, 4x4 tracks, bush walking tracks and squeezy K-Mart aisles). It has been great and because its made of alunimum its wont rust because of the sea water.

Now that we have 2 little boys (with only a 16month age gap), when we go walking one goes in the pram and one in the Mountain Design backpack. The boys love getting out into the fresh air.

Good luck
