I did some research for the school a few months back.

You could try popping onto the the RTA website.

The general age from memory for sitting in the front seat was 7.

However I remember reading a manual in our car, suggesting due to the front passenger airbag, they also had to be a certain number of kilos.

I dont know what the legal age is for travelling in the front...
It does depend on airbags though. If you have a front passenger airbag, then the person needs to be over 12.
