I just wanted to wish a Happy Mothers day to those women who will be forgotten tomorrow. You may not have a babe in your arms, or a child at your feet - you are just as much a mother as the next woman who was blessed with a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.
Happy Mothers Day to all the women who have babies waiting in Heaven...:hugs:

I just received these beautiful words from my husband in an email - although I know they were intended for me, I really feel that every woman who has lost a child can understand and relate... let me share...
You love your two babes in Heaven just as much as any other mother does with her babe in her arms. You didn't even get to hold your babies and see them grow, yet your love is unconditional and unwavering. The love in your heart is real. You felt elation at their arrival and the deepest grief when they sadly left us.

Happy to Mothers Day ladies and special hugs for Ally for starting this thread:hugs:
Dear Ally,
Just wanted to send you :hugs: I hope you manage to have a baby soon. you sound as if you will make the best mum ever!
lots of love Jx
Well I was surprised at how hard I found today to be. My family has always ignored mothers day and I simply mention it to my mum in passing now, and I'm always told to ignore it and not be silly. But today I just kept feeling really flat. I cried often and found it really hard to talk to anyone other than DH. He took me to the pub, told me he loves me and bought me wine, which helped, but today was just so hard.
Many special hugs to all of you today. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Oh Bron - I'm sending you big hugs right now :hugs:
I know what you mean about people being totally oblivious to the thoughts and emotions that swell in our hearts; especially on milestones like today.
I took my Mother and Grandmother for a drive today, and proudly told them that my husband sent me an email wishing me a Happy Mothers Day; I reminded them that though I dont have a baby here in the physical sense, there are two babies in Heaven who I can call my own. I think that by putting it that way they understood that today is for me too - not just those with babes in their arms.
Dont forget, all us women here at BH are here for you, we have a never ending box of Kleenex and hundreds of shoulders for you to lean on. :hugs:
Oh Bron.... thank goodness your DH is so good, and thak goodness for wine!
Ally, you brought a tear to my eye. You are so sweet and I am glad that now your family understand what today eant to you too.
:hugs: to all who have angels in heaven.
I know that one day my little angels will get to play with their sisters one day.
I am just thankful I have my two angels on earth and two watching us and guiding us from above.
:hugs:
Kris.

Thanks Ally for this post. No-one said anything to me on Mothers Day, and that was painful. I only m/c 2 weeks ago today- so will always be thingking of my angel around mother's day. It was laso my Mum's b'day on 9th may- so a very difficult month was May this year. I was also due on my b'day in Nov- so am sure that that will be difficult for me, at least this year.....
:hugs:
