NOR Meet Thurs 18th May

Hi Gals! As Lynda was unalbe to attend the last meet she has asked me to start the new thread! Here goes...

Firstly thanks to all that were able to come...(and thanks to me for having it at my house!:laughing: )

A BIG welcome to Mel (my SIL) and Joel who joined us last week! :wave:

The Meet was actually rather small this time round, although u have to expect the in the colders months. All the babies were an absolute joy, with Amity being her usual self! :devil6:

Ben was a little charmer again!:cool: And Ava had all the boys after her! Joel was happy to just lay there and watch the world go round, whereas Amity wanted to be wherever the food was! Elijah was probably the quietest out of all!

As for next weeks meet, I would love to be able to tell u all where it is, BUT I CANT! Is there anyone who would like to offer to have the next meet at their house!?!?

Any suggestions gals??

I would put my hand up to host next weeks meet, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it to this one as we are going to the grand final of the Little Aussie comp. I am happy to have it the week after tho if no one else has already taken that day.

Sorry we didn't make it last week, my trip to the docs in the city took longer than expected and by the time we got home (11.45am) I wasn't feeling up to going out. The docs shoved a needle into my tummy, tho I don't mind needles it was just a funny feeling and it made me a little ill. :barf: But all is fine now.
Unfortunately I may not be able to make next week as I have a job interview on Tuesday and if I get it I may have to start pretty much straight away. Hopefully if I do get it I can start on the Monday and I can make one last meet. :crying:

if everyone brings something small thats fine with me and i'll provide the drinks - will buy some bottles of coke and lemonade and the usual tea/coffee/milo?? does that sound ok with everyone?

we have a few new additions this week - i already know joe and he cant have wheat so monica is bringing something healthy for him, i might just put some sweet biscuits out to have with the tea/coffee and maybe some marshmallows for hot chocs now that its a bit cooler.

im hopeless at organising food things so just bring what you feel like :)

for the new mums in the group - we start around 11, but some people come later if theyre kiddies have lunchtime naps etc.

and we often hang out till 3pm at least, so your welcome to drop in anytime that suits :)

ive sent it as a private message (bubhub thing) that will show up in your email... and just bring a small plate of something, im gonna put on the drinks and some biscuits and everyone just brings along something either sweet or savoury... im really bad at organising food things - when we have dinner parties heath alwayssss cooks while i go mad with the cleaning

hi all. sorry i couldnt make it today. i've been finding it hard to sleep lately. i only just got up at 1.30pm today.
gosh 40wks and 1 day. he's probably too comfy :sleeping: in there to realise i want to meet him soooo much. well anyway went to the docs on tue, had a scare cause my BP was high, so they left me alone for about 5-10mins then checked it again. thank goodness it was fine this time. they're not worried that i'm 40wks so they just told me to come back next week unless things start happining sooner. :D
well i dont expect him to show up till next week sometime. garrr i hate waiting. i've got his room set up and everything. i just wanna show off my little boy.
okies then. blabbering on:ecomcity: keep u guys up to date if i can.
