Hey everyone, I am feeling so confused right now. I have been ttc since dec 05 my cycle is all over the place. In previous months i have had HPT's that have come up with a faint positive and have been proven to be false. My dilema now is I did one this morning and it has come up darker than ever before but still faint(not having to squint at it). I had af on the 25th april then i started to spot and have a light af on the 5th april. I really don't know what to make of this latest hpt wouldn't it be too early to have implantion? Your advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Some hpt makers say that if you can see the line at arms length then it is a positive result. Are you on any hormone treatment at all that could affect the result?

Wait until you are at least 28 days passed your last bleed then try again, or go and see you GP for them to test you.

Hi caroline no i am not on any meds of any kind, when i had a blood test to check a couple of months back my hcg level was <1 so i have no idea what is going on. This hpt i did this morning you can definately see from arms length so i guess i will just wait and see what happens i am just so impatient though....:banghead:

Hi Trish - my first HPT with bub came up neg, then the following week was an incredibly faint positive which was indeed positive!

Hoping yours means the same :) :fingerscrossed:

I did 3 in one day and got two veryvery faint positives and one neg. The odd thingabout it was the negative test was supposed to be the sensitive one!
I had it confirmed by the dr by blood test in the following days but it definately can make you go crazy.
I must say I also used a clear blue digital the day after and it was great, none of this "is it a line" business it just comes up "pregnant" on the screen.:)

Hi starburst, congratulations on your pregnancy.:smiliedance: If i had not had any other tests come up with faint positives before i would be saying that i was pregnant cause this line is unmistakeable,i showed it to my best friend today and she said that it looked positive. I think i will get one of those digital ones and do it towards the end of the week.

Hi tatty, i ended up getting af..... but thats not to say that yours is a false bfp. Are you late for af?

tatty

yes i am late but my first bub is only 8 months old and I am still breast feeding so I have been irregular so I'm not really sure?? I will wait a while and test again soon, we not really TTC so I think I have the patience to wait a bit........
